what made you sign up to your first messageboard?

This is the 1st forum I joined.

For me it was getting back into comics after a long hiatus and wanting to ask people questions about what was going on. Sadly comics aren't that big in the UK and none of my mates were interested in them.

Similar reason and circumstances for me but I also joined to talk about X3 news

I think it was when I heard about Batman Begins. (or Batman: The Intimidation Game as it was called then) I had been a Batman fan since I was a kid, so when I heard about a new movie I jumped on the net to see what was goin on.

The Hype though, would be the second board I came too. I checked the main page alot for news, joined the board after a couple months of that.

Me too, back at TF.N before Episode I came out. During that time I'd been a regular visitor to Spider-Man Hype, then X-Men Hype, then a few months before X2 came out I joined up.

I don't really know anybody in real life that I can talk to about... dorky stuff. This is my sanctuary

I joined this site first, Spider-manhype. as it was known way back in the day.. never looked back.. i have found some of the more interesting personalities on this very site.

Another fun thing..i think the stars of the very superhero movie's more than likely come to this site.. to see what we think.

I originally signed up over at comicbook resources as it was a more comics themed site and I liked the layout of the main page. Sadly their forums suck so I came here and the rest is history

So fellow hypesters, what made you sign up to your first forum and what was forum was it?

mine was spider-man hype[now known as SHH] for basicly the same reasons you did
