Well,

Watched Wrath of Khan last night and when poor Spock died I started to tear up, sure I have seen that movie many, many times but that scene gets me sad just like when Kirk died in Generations. So I ask my fellow hypers what films have teared you up. :csad:

Wouldn't this be more appropriate in the general movies board?

Anyways, only movie that got me to cry is Edward Scissorhands. Most depressing movie ever (but genious).

Edward Scissorhands made me sad, very sad.

But the scene in Batman Begins where young Bruce is talking to Alfred about how he misses his parents struck a tear to my eye.

Ghost and poetic justice.

oh and this thread has been done before and it's also in the wrong forum

Field of Dreams. The scene were Costner's character says "Hey Dad, wanna have a catch?" It gets me every time.

Never actually cried after a film but Terminator 2 when arnie goes into the lava almost put a tear in my eye. Also the original transformers movie when optimus prime dies, still almost puts a tear to my eye now!

"I'm a doctor, not a nancy-boy!"

The Empire Of The Sun (watched it back when I was twelve and the last scene still makes me cry to this day)
Punch Drunk Love (who would've thought?)

I had a tear of joy AND sorrow during 'Batman Begins'...I've cried watching Dennis Franz on 'NYPD Blue' before. Not too many other times. The finale of 'Frasier' had me tearing up. Those aren't movies! :(

**runs off crying!**

what part sir?

Old mother******* Yeller!

For you youngsters, they shoot him in the end.

When Thomas Wayne was speaking to Bruce, fathering him, my eyes whelled up. And then after his parents died, that scene between young Bruce & Alfred...I lost it!

And in retrospect, the previous year was when I finally got back into comics after the longest hiatus, and I had been reading a LOT of Batman books. I felt very invested in everything that was going on! :whatever:

Then the 'tear of joy' came in the form of watering eyes at how badass the best parts of the movie were! The 'Joker' card at the end had goosebumps/hair standing up straight on my arm! :wow:

I shed a tear during that scene as well, I'm oh so manly :o

I cried when I watch Freddy Got fingured. I was crying cause I wanted two hours extra before I die.

That is what I say to myself while watching Edward Scissorhands.

I can't watch it without crying!

The Passion of the Christ, because even a child molester shouldn't have to go through what Jesus did. :(

I get a little somethin'-somethin' during Spider-Man 3. The final conversation between Peter and Flint.

Father-son stories really get to me. Frequency is another one where I get choked up. Admittedly, that's the appeal of the Harry Potter movies for me. The little things that show connections between Harry and his parents really amplify the bigger moments, like when his parents appear in the GOF.

Top Gun

This scene got me crying

poor goose :csad:
