My...

tears fell the moment when Quicksilver was taking his time whether to tell Magneto that he is his son or not.

Magda and Nina's death and Magneto's pain.

If Havok's death had been handled better, I might have shed a tear. They really screwed that one up.

I welled up when
Magneto told his daughter how his parents were taken away from him. I'm not sure if that was partly because my mother died last year, or just because it was so well done...

Anyone know why his daughter was called Nina and not (as in the comics) Anya? I looked up Anya and found it's Russian but it does exist in Polish as the spelling Ania. Maybe Nina just sounded better?

MY theory was that since they made her a mutant, they would give her a different name to mark her as an original character. Comic Anya was never shown to be mutant to my knowledge. Her death was probably pre-puberty IIRC.

My 2 moments

Magnus witnessing the death of wife/daughter. 2) It isnt sad, but Xavier returning Moiras memories and the last 1-2 minutes of the movie with the comic costumes and Sentinel tease

I think it's pretty obvious what the saddest moment in the film is
When Magneto Wife and child die and the pain magneto feels due to this

I had something in my eye when Jean went full phoenix force at the end... It makes me wish we could have seen Singer's phoenix in X3

YES! I thought I was the only one. I really started to tear up.

Maybe it was more nostalgia than anything but all of a sudden I was a kid again being amazed my Byrne/Claremont type magic!!!!!!!

spoiler fail

Surely the title would imply spoilers?

I'm more teary at the lost prospect of Singer's X3 than I was during this film tbh.

But seriously, McAvoy's pain while Apocalypse choked Mystique and taunted him... that made me well up a bit.

Magneto's wife and daughter.

I heard someone on twitter complaining about the line "You won't stop me from killing these people" or something and i'm like... Dude just had his wife and daughter murdered. These employees are the reason why. I don't see anything wrong with that line.

1) Eric's Wife and daughter's death teared me up a little
2) Charles giving Moira back her memories of them
3) That 'Jean' Scene during the big battle. Nuff said
4) Scott's pain about losing his brother

I didn't well up, but damn Fassbender did a fantastic job of making me feel Erik's pain throughout the movie.

When the credits rolled and I realized how underwhelming the movie was.

Moira realizing Charles had returned her memories.

THIS. It took me by surprise how emotional I got. It was executed perfectly. I could feel the waterworks coming through and I had to really hold myself together.

Same, I thought that was a really powerful moment. Before seeing the movie, I saw a few reviews saying Moira was unnecessary. After seeing it, I was totally confused how anyone thought that? Like, sure, shes not the most important character in the movie, but its an ensemble movie, and I thought she had an appropriately sized role? Moira/Charles were a really cute pairing, and the memory return was one of the most emotional moments in the movie. And, they wisely gave Rose Byrne some comedic moments.

I hope they bring Rose/James back for the next movie, they work really well together.

In Poland we have Ania, but also we have Nina name too.
Was Viper or Yukio a mutant in comic?
They could give her Ania name.

I didn't cry at any of the aforementioned scenes, but there was a sort of... allergic reaction during some of these scenes. Must be something in the popcorn. Or maybe the air was dusty. Mostly the Moira scene and Erik for me.

I didn't cry but when Charles gave Moira her memories back I received all the feels.
