You saw it coming, it's time to make suggestions for how the big, green guy will sound when he growls, in his anger state.

Contribute links to sound files, YouTube videos or describe a suitable growl.

Yeap, the growl is important. Good thread.

In the first movie it sounded a bit underwhelming at times, especially after he erupts from under the streets of SF. He sounded too human.
He DOES sound really cool right after he touches down just before staring down Ross in the chopper.

I'd like a more animalistic growl. Thumbs up to the growl at the end of this trailer (at 2:18): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJrv0HTM5P0

It almost sounds like he's sad or frustrated. Me like...

But I wanna hear the HULK SMASH as a furious growl too, right before hurling the ABOMINATION through half of NY.

Damn, can't WAIT to hear the sound alone of HULK and the ABOMINATION brawling, thumbing, snarling and growling. 1000X HULK vs HULK-dogs! :wow:

I thought his growl/scream from the first movie was perfect, they should keep somthing like that IMO.

:down

The Hulk dogs was a ridiculous idea.

Yeah, a bit off. I was refering to the primal rawness in it and the sound.

The ABOMINATION will make up for the gamma-radiated dogs.

I think his roar of Ultimate Destruction was the best.

I like the way he sounded in the full INTERNATIONAL trailer. Why they changed the roar (the one where Hulk roars after crashing out of the water tank) is beyond me. But the inter.trailer roar of that scene sounded perfect. He sounded like a raging beast!

Ultimate Destruction was obviously not overlooked in the Hulk concept. I imagine that replicating the voice in a film would not be that hard.

What interests me more is who will be voicing him and if they will leave that person out of the credits again.

Ha ha, will we ever know who that was in the first movie?

^Probably Ang himself, as he was eager to do all the motion capture stuff.

It needs to be a really vicious & nasty sounding growl. Something to make you **** on yourself.

I somewhat agree with Vegata_1000, but all n all, I don't really so much care about his GROWL, nearly as much as I do, his VOICE!

i'm sure it was Bana's growl, just put throught some sound machine thing to make it sound deeper or something.

The Hulk is not an animal. He shouldn't sound like one. He is an enlarged human with larger lung capacity and enlarged vocal cords. His roar should be a deeper, louder version of a human yell.

Basic roar of an angry man just much more loud.

I liked that growl at the end too.

Man that reminded me of how much Nolte ruined that movie....ugh...

Basically, like a 9' tall death-metal singer on steroids!
