Heh, I actually meant Superman Returns. Sorry, my bad. I mixed my frustrations with the Batman titles with the topic of how much money this franchise relaunchs are getting. Too much free time lately.....

I think Superman Returns had other tings going on that WB mishandled. They marketed it horribly, they released it too close to POTC II.....I mean, they challenged Depp and failed. You cannot challenge Depp this day and age, the dude is a powerhouse. But, also....SR had suh a huge budget...WB set itself up for failure, when you talk about inflating a budget to that degree.

I think Batman Begins will be seen seprate, and that none affects the other. They're so different and in different stages...I think that's how WB would take it and not let one affect the other.

Right, even if the marketing had been better, they had to give it space between the release date and Pirates 2....Oh well.

At least the Begins sequel won't have to go against something like Depp, hopefully that is.

Yeah. The Batman would have been a good title. Me, being a Nolan-franchise purist, would vote they call the first film "BATMAN" and then the sequels would name themselves....(Batman 2, 3, etc.)
