What the...? Stan, are you ok?

I have never known life under the iron fist of your rule, then. I think I've been to the FF boards about 3 times.

Me too, those guys were weird. Transvestite Message board practices and the like.

Couple things:

1) Stan doesnt need any money. He won his lawsuit against Marvel, and, iirc, is entitled to 10% of all revenue from the films, including merchandise. Even from movies featuring characters he didnt create, such as Blade, Elektra, and Punisher....

2) Stan is running a business, Pow entertainment. They have employees who need to get paid. Stan is obviously pursuing a high profile celebrity to help generate business for his company. Some of you may not like her, and that's fine. Young men are often intimidated by attractive, powerful, promiscuous woman (although im quite frankly stunned that some of you are actually wishing her harm and death)...but the fact is that her ad for Carl Junior's was one of the most successful in history, so Stan is actually being quite savvy in trying to work with her.

3) I find it ironic and somewhat dis-heartening to see some of you slagging Stan on a forum dedicated to a comics universe he, at the very LEAST, co-created. SOme of you come here every day. I was hoping to see more respect for The Man.

Oh well.

I guess maybe I was the only one watching that Who Wants To Be A Superhero show. Stan Lee went on about how it took "this" and it took "that" to be a superhero. You had to be a good person.

Now why are some of the fans disappointed in Stan Lee? Well, for starters Paris Hilton is an ungrateful spoiled little attention ****e. That's the LAST person that I'd expect to see Stan Lee develop a show for. How come he doesn't do a cartoon on a young woman in Hollywood who's actually, oh I don't know, A GOOD ROLE MODEL?! :wow:

No one is disrespecting Stan Lee for what he's done previously. But try to take another look at it and see why some comic book fans would be hurt by the decision he's made. Come on, man....people are intimidated by Paris Hilton? Dude, people are tired of hearing about her. She's done nothing special or has contributed nothing decent to society.

There are plenty of women out there who do great things that deserve their own cartoon more than her. So, yeah, I'm disappointed in Stan Lee for doing this...and it's because of the money he's doing it. And whether it's for his own bank or to help his company...it's still pretty low.

Ah, yes. You are a regular fashionista Corp.

You should see the shoe my friend and I designed on Puma's website yesterday. I don't want to give too much away, so all I'm gonna say is camo pink lady textiles are your friend. ;)
