The Darkest Minds. Not bad as these youth apocalypse things go, but old hat after all this time. I don't know why they're still making these.

TREMORS (1990)
Quality = 9/10
Joy = 7.5/10

I remember enjoying this movie a lot more when I first saw it, it kinda annoys me to see I enjoy movies less than I used to. At least it's still entertaining.

Ravenous (Les Affamés)

I thought this was just incredible. Imagine if someone took The Happening, made it actually good, and instead of the wind killing people, it's zombies. The director did a great job giving some nuances to the zombie genre. There isn't a whole lot of dialogue, but there's plenty of story. It's also a slow burn, but it's worth every second. And because it's an indie film, there's a lot of great practical gore effects. Overall, it's one of the better horror films this year and it's on Netflix.
9/10

31 Day Horror Marathon
Day 1 | Slice (6.5/10)
Day 2 | Hell Fest (7.5/10)
Day 3 | Ravenous (9/10)

@Immortalfire I typed in the obvious year of release specifically to tease you. :oldrazz:

I think I need to re-establish my order of MCU movies favorites. I think I ranked Black Panther higher than this one, but upon rewatch I found myself enjoying this significantly more, even with how disappointed I am that they turned Hulk to a coward after losing.

But I am sort of disappointed that this shot from the trailer did not make its way into the movie.

Lots of good quotes and avatar material in this movie, more than their first group movie.
