Are you sure Wolfman is being released in the summer and Halo will not be an R IMO

The Lady from Shanghai and The Luhrmann project will be Hughs 2008 releases i think

Yep, Wolfman is scheduled for a summer release but Im not sure that will stand, shooting in early 07, could put it out at anytime in 08.

Didnt someone say Halo would be rated R?

Halo is looking certain for a 2008 release with the new director annouced. Summer 08. Should do well if the director has any skills and PJ pushes him along. Hopefully he won't get too stupid like in Kong. Should do well but it has no shot of beating Narnia or Indy or even Batman 2 for that matter. Doom had alot of fans but look where that got it.

The original Alex Garland script was an extreme hard R movie, but now that they're doing a whole new script, it's completely up in the air.

Since I don't think JP4 or Indy 4 will happen, I gotta go with Harry Potter until I see what else comes out in 2008.

I think (domestically) it'll be between Indy and Batman. Not sure how well Avatar and Potter will do.

Cool,thanks.

Potter is out in Thanksgiving so it won't really affect the summer flicks at all... I think the summer flicks are Halo, TDK, Avatar, Iron Man, Indy/JP4 (one of those two won't make the summer), and Narnia... you gotto give the edge to Narnia or Indy if it has a favorable release date... TDK has a chance though...

The Incredible Hulk has been officially announce today, so he should be added to the pole

TIH will be lucky to make the top 10, i just hope it makes as much as the old one

Indiana Jones vs. Batman Round 2!! (Batman and Last Crusade were # 1 and # 2 box office wise respectively in '89).

I don't think IJ4 will happen, so I say Harry Potter and then Batman, but it'll be pretty close.

Well....2008, huh? Y'all do realize this is 2006 and it is WAY too early to predict?

But Narnia and Harry Potter seem to be the big guns of what little we know (I love Iron Man and Batman but they aren't going to be huge but more BB and SR level).

Exactly, except Im not sure Narnia will make as much as the first... I know unless it just looks amzing I wont seeit till possible on dvd.

I still have Harry Potter taking it all.

Harry Potter will probably have 1-3 Worldwide Box Office but when it comes to domestic I give it the movies of May.

Well, I think TDK will be #1 in summer, domesticly. But it will be so, if only Disney moves Narnia 2 to December.

But in Domestic TOP3of the whole 2008, the winner will be Harry Potter 6.

Narnia 2 and TDK will get 2nd and 3rd places, what also is very good, especially for TDK.

Domestically I doubt Harry Potter will be #1. So far we've had 4 Harry Potter movies and only the 1st grossed higher than any other movie that year.

Yeah Harry Potter makes more of it's money internationally, especially in Europe.

Last Crusade made more.

But in 2008, there is no movie like Spider-man or POTC.

Besides, I doubt Narnia 2 will make more than 1st movie.

Narnia made more domestically than Harry Potter last year.

I know, but Narnia 2 won't be as good as was Narnia 1 this time, I mean in box office.

Narnia 2 will make huge opening, but also it won't have so good legs, which Narnia 1 had.

Harry Potter on other hand is 6th movie and if HP5 makes more than $260m, HP6 will be even more huge.
