haaaahaha!
i just imagined scarecrow "can i get you anything else sir?! warm milk? cookies perhaps?" while he's shoving harley out of the way.

i hope scarecrow doesn't show up. i thought Katie already burned his pretty face off.

Which is exactly why he MUST show up. :o

Well the Scarecrow can return without Murphy returning. I'd like to see Scarecrow in the opening scene and Batman take him down. I doubt they'd want to sign Murphy and pay him all that money just for him to be around a few scenes. They can just put someone else in the mask and have him play the chararacter.

why are some people saying that Cillian won't show up, as if it's a fact? I'm pointing my finger at Cinammon!

When you're an actor, you don't know too much about the scripting/pre-production process... and I'm sure Cillian is left in the dark, as well as the others.

In Begins, they clearly set up something for the Scarecrow. he's still out there...

I'm a big supporter of Scarecrow. I loved him in BB, His story is unresolved -

he MUST be allowed a fitting ending. Even if its only a few minutes at the beginning of the movie, we need to see what happened to him!

hope to see him in his arkham cell... would be a nice touch.

I would like to see Scarecrow again, and some more Fear Toxin scenes would be great as well.
Even if it's just to have his a$$ kicked again by Batman (or Rachel...) :o

I dont think hes needed. I think he was there for 2 reasons really in Begins:

1) To bring Bruce Waynes flashbacks in the heat of battle. It served to remind us that his only weakness really is his past.

2) To show how a psychiatrist can abuse his job in such a city where nothing is sacred and everyone is corrupt.

Now that its done, move on imo. I thought the stun gun to the face was a perfect ending as he is a white collar punk type of character and not meant to be a huge threat in Nolans universe. Once his gas was useless against Rachel, he was powerless.

I think he was also excellently used to introduce the idea of Arkham Asylum.

Oh yeah, he created lots of freed nutcases to be seen in future films. That was a very useful plot device.

But using arkham as a timeout area for villains who are placed there and escape in the next film.. bad idea imo. Thats more Schumachers style.

cillian murphy is a genius actor. they left him loose at the end of the movie but implied that it would probably be tied up before the next movie with gordon saying "we still have to round up blah blah" and batman says "we will" so we probably won't see him

I'd rather see Zsasz back myself, he wouldnt cost as much as Murphey, and it would be cool to see him now totally insane from fear gas doing his whole killing people with certain auras thing :o

This is the thinking we need... let's be economical... we can't sign the Hoffman's... the Jackman's... the Murphy's.... the Freeman's for three more flicks... if they still want continuity bring back loq key guys like Flask and Zsasz... just cause we saw the origin of Scarecrow doesn't mean we need to see the conclusion... it would do the character more justice if he did not appear at all than if he was captured in like a two minute cameo... now if he is involved with Joker... then it works... but he won't be so let's just drop him and focus on other characters
