The Dark Knight What will Scarecrow's role be?

I apologize if this has been asked before,but will Scarecrow return in the sequel and what role do you think he would play? I mean,will he have a major role again or will he just appear at the beginning getting captured by Batman? I'd like to see him play a major part again. It seems that in comic book films,the major villains are always captured and killed by the end of the film and never really used in sequels. Do you think this will be the case with Crane?

Cillian Murphy has already said that there aren't even any talks of him returning.

I friggin LOVED John Crane/The Scarecrow in BB, although he didn't have a big part. He should be in BB2 and BB3 as a continous threat...because Cillian Murphy was born for that role!

But Scarecrow in BB2? I would say he'll be around, but we probably won't see him much. He could show up to fight Batman after Joker comes into town, maybe because Crane becomes "jealous" or something.

Cillian Murphy won'tbe returning in batman2, but he did that he would return if he was asked to. And he never does sequals.

as much as i love scarecrow and cillian's portrayal of him. i don't think he will or should make an apperance in the sequel, considering the sequel will most probably have so many other characters in it already; the joker, dent, maybe the black mask, maybe the penguin, a love interest for batsy. thats more that enuf we dont need someone else taking up valuable screentime.

I'd really want to see the Scarecrow back cause i loved Cillian Murphy's performance.

If he were to return i think he'd be darker and more psychotic after all the fear gas he had taken in.He will have to be heavily scarred too after been stunned in the face with the taser gun.

Shame they cut out this extra footage from the first flick....
