What would have been better?

ulitmately a boxset dvd complete series run through but what the heck...

I think bi weekly is fine.

This bi-weekly thing is killing me, man.

Not knowing initially just how good the show would be, I would've preferred they wait another month or so, then we could get an uninterrupted run.

This show has single-handedly revitalized my Saturday mornings. It's arguably the best thing to happen to Spidey-fans in years.

Animation Realities 101 time again.

They are still doing post-production on the remaining episodes for this season. They are working very, very hard to get those episodes finished and on the air. Putting together thirteen twenty-two minute episodes is not a walk in the park, it's a very long and grueling process. Especially when you're doing pre-production on the second season at the same time.

And for those of you saying "Well, kids WB should not air the series until all thirteen are done", well, won't work that way. The business department sets a premiere date before the first script is even written, and it's the production team that has to make that deadline.

Is it officially bi-weekly now? No, it's not. Your poll is very misleading.

im kinda curious as to why people would rather watch it bi-weekly if seeing it weekly was an option

Because it's kind of a moot point. Yes, watching it week after week would have been better, but it was also physically impossible. I voted bi-weekly because I choose to live in reality were Weisman and company were given a deadline they thought they could reach, but unfortunately came a little short (probably becuase the Venom arc requires twice as much sound mixing for Venom's voice). Weekly was never an option and I wouldn't vote for something that's inconceivable, albeit preferred by everyone.

Hell, according to Greg's blog, they are mixing episode seven right now. The next episode to air isn't even complete yet.

That's how long it takes and how time consuming putting together a series is.

i thought they had like up to episode 10 finished up already? really they were still working on episode 7 this week?

Nothing but perfection for Wesiman. He'll work until the last minute on an episode if he feel it can be even a little bit better and his hard work always pays off.

Yea i know that but i thought what he said during the podcast they had like up to episode 10ish ready to go and all that. Wasnt expecting to hear they are still finishing up on episode 7 which airs next week.

He didn't say that. He said they had six ready to go, and that was recorded before the sixth episode aired.

well yah, but its a hypothetical scenario

yea its not that big of a deal now if it was like what kids wb or CN has done in the past for some shows waiting a month or more to show new episodes even if they are already to go that was be a big problem.

Unless the world does end prematurely and we never find out how the season finishes.

they are still working on episode 7?! :wow:
any chance the one week gap will widen?

No, next Saturday is the announced airdate, that's when it needs to air. We'll see it next week.

His blog? Can I have a link?
