What would you like to see in the movie?

One thing I DON'T want to see is Raph running off and getting incapacitated or captured. He and Leo can butt heads, but for the love of all that is holy I don't need another loner Raph storyline running through the movie. I know it's an important aspect to his character, but it's been done to death in the movies.

Ninja Turtles who are mutants and also teenagers.

I don't think it was Michael Bay's call to make them aliens, he may be the producer but that doesn't mean anything

I think Bay is or was very involved at one point and them being aliens (if that's still the case) sounds inherently Bay-ish.

Subplots focusing on Mike and Don. Leonardo and Raphael are normally front and center because of how "badass" they are, whereas the other two brothers are there for comic relief and nerd speak.

There should be neat character moments with each turtle and how they really embrace human culture despite being mutants.

There's a cute one shot with Donnie, and how he feels like his brothers don't 'get' him because he's too geeky. Then he goes out on his own to a tech convention where he finds his 'forum fanboy' rival.

By the end of the book, there's a cute moment where Leo is trying to connect with Donnie by doing research on Donnie's favorite MMORPG.

Everyone has a role to play.

I would like to see the turtles train. Or actually, have them not start out as ninjas, maybe have the movie cover several years, like say Batman Begins (for a movie reference everyone should get), and show them becoming ninjas.

Take Bay's hands and vocal cords away. That's all I ask.

I'd like to see The Turtles utilize different types of martial arts fitting their personalities accordingly.

I don't want crude Transformers 2 humor. I want the Turtles to have cute and fun moments, but nothing stupid like peeing on the foot soldiers.

I don't want to see this at all. They're going to ruin this film, so it's best that I just stick with the original movies, cartoons, and comics. It's going to flop. Period. :BA

Well Bay is behind this so I expect something like that to happen.

This is my theory:

The alien angle was his conception (aliens equals lazy me thinks) and he probably told Liesbman and the writers they have freedom with the story BUT here are his suggestions.

After 'Turtle gate', I think Bay's role has minimized and has allowed Liesbman to do his thing with the writers. That's why..while I think this outrage went overboard, it wielded some possible good results after the fact. It meant that this franchise was still important to people.

Teenage.....mutant.....ninja.....turtles.

Michael Bay has a thing for DUMBING these kinds of things for people for society; as a childhood fan, I am not a happy camper with Bay on board.

Devil's Advocate: Let's say they're literally aliens.

My problem with that is that everything now has friggin' aliens. TMNT's place in pop culture was their introduction of the 'mutant' craze of the 80's and 90's. It makes them special.
