What scene's would you like to see in this movie?

I'd like to see some hints at his origin. Like who his parents were. I really liked this one story where he goes back to where it all took place and it happens again right in front of his eyes. The whole thing with his dad being this demon and his mom being a nun I believe. Really good stuff.

His mother was a human teenager who dabbled in black magic, repented her sins, got married and had two kids who grew up to be a nun and a priest.

His father was a powerful demon, but I don't think he was Satan, just a very powerful demon.

It's never clearly stated in the comics, though when you see the flames above his head in the future scene that Rasputin shows Broom, it is in the shape of a crown. He's also refered to as a prince when he encounters other demons, so who knows? Maybe someday Mike Mignola will tell us.

Hhmmm thats curious, some nice info though thanks, maybe they will incororporate that into the sequel, with the main bad guy being an Elf Prince?

His father is first glimpsed in the TPB The Chained Coffin. Pick it up, it should answer many questions.

GDT said that if the sequel suceeds the third will be the fullfilment of the prophecy that is glimpsed in the first movie. So maybe we will get all our questions regarding HB's origin fully answered in part 3.

Mignola did so many great short stories with Hellboy, any one of them would be a great opening action scene. I don&#8217;t have any of my Hellboy comics with me, but to name a few...

-The Unfortunate Mr. Todd (name?)
-Iron Shoes
-The Osiris Club
-Heads

...off the top of my head. He finishes with the job, and then you know, classic smokes a stogie, and gets a call concerning something bigger, or telling him to return to the BPRD, thus beginning the actual plot.

Yeah, that's a kickass little story. If they could work it in without it seeming out of place, it'd be cool, but I doubt it.

It's too comical, and the end of the story probably wouldn't fit into the setting of the film, and that was what gave it the most impact.

I just got a new Hellboy novel titled The Dragon Pool by Christopher Golden (one of my favorite Hellboy authors, far as the novels go). It includes flashbacks to Hellboy's courtship of Anastasia Bransfield, and how the controversy surrounding it. Replace Anastasia with Liz, and I think we have an interesting futherment of the two's "romance", if you could call it that. (being that romance is a very subjective term nowadays)

Personnaly I'd really like to see an all out brawl with Hellboy, Liz, and Abe in different fights at the same time in different locations. And you just think everyone is screwed.

And than the climax of the movie has to be totally operatic, with the melo-drama just overflowing.

^I can see that happening at the end of this movie actually, as the characters seem so much more involved so to speak.

Like from the first movie, I would enjoy seeing a couple of little comic-throw-ins for the fans. Sort of along the lines of Roger being in the background and whatnot. This could mean randomly throwing out the names of another agent (Kate or Ben), or maybe have them in a cross-by scene. Just to give us a chuckle and make us feel clever.

Along those lines, I'd like them to mention why Agent Myers left. He was okay for an original character (Agent Clay was better), so I don't mind his absence. But, to just get rid of him without an explanation in the movie seems a bit unusual.

I would never turn down the Monkey with the Gun. Classic.

But I think one of the best scenes would be the Pancakes storyline. It's fun, just there for a little laugh. If not Hellboy 2, it should definately be in a possible Hellboy 3 - especially if the later is going to be all hell-on-earth.

Rasputin, Ilsa, and Kroenen did not have too much characterization that made it on film. They didn't need it, we all knew they were just a group of maniacs trying to bring forth the Seven Headed Beast to destroy the world. But, Prince Nuada seems like he's going to have a much more interesting reason for his psychoticness. I want some great seens in his and Princess Nuala's elvish world. Not to say that a giant army of goblin-built robots isn't going to be bad-ass enough, but you can never have enough.

And Abe needs to shoot something.
