The Dark Knight What would YOUR viral campaign for TDK consist of?

You mean 18-7-08

I can't figure out why Americans can't write dates properly?

Dates aren't written that way in America, you didn't know that? It's like me saying you can't write dates properly because you do it a different way than us. In some countries, the month number comes first, in others the day number comes first.

Anyway, next year, it would be a good idea to place Joker cards in all Batman graphic novels and comic books, and the date of the film scribbled across the card.

I like that idea! Now around the release date if the owner of my local comic shop doesn't do that im going to raise hell in there!

Here´s an idea for a cool viral piece... What about an online comic strip or cartoon? It´d be an awesome tribute to comics, and it´d be a cool tool to make humorous comments related to the plotline of the movie, not only Batman, but the DA campaign, the crime spree and things like that. Think about it, WB!

Mine would be a simple hangman puzzle, with the reward being the entire movie in hi-res DVD quality.

Okay, if I was in charge I would actually use this site. Namely, I would create numerous fake accounts and "invade" Batman fan forums, giving out clues which led to pictures and the like.
I would also launch a YouTube campaign in which would be shown amateur footage of The Joker in Gotham as well as a Gotham News channel which would have constant updates.
There would also be less websites apart from www.ibelieveinharveydent.com and instead, taking the cue from Soft Targets would introduce the sole Joker website (www.whowillweartheredhalo.com) which would consist of web cam footage of Gotham which you were led to believe The Joker was watching from a snipers nest.
