The Dark Knight What would YOUR viral campaign for TDK consist of?

The viral marketing needs to be F'n huge. Billboard posters of Harvey Dent, Campaign commercials of Dent, Joker toys, put up an actual bat-signal at night in big cities, have a real tumbler drive through the streets of New York! Ads in magazines, hell, do McDonalds! Make everyone and their grandma want to see this movie.


Give some more damn ideas.

I really want to see Dent Campaign ads on t.v. I also wanna see the Joker take something over also, or even have an ad on t.v. saying hes "recruiting for the job of a lifetime" and shows the "I want you" poster at the end,.

It'd cost millions, but just imagine every billboard and ad put in the streets, being defaced with the Joker face? That'd be some brilliant marketing scheme. Especially in a heavily marketed city like NY. The whole place would be filled with Joker smiles.

What if TBS (after all, one of there sell-lines is "The Funniest Place in Primetime" ) or some other channel did a big Joker-themed promotion a few days b4 TDK came out?

Like maybe air Batman '89, various Joker episodes of TAS and the 60's Batman show along with BBROTJ.

Oh, and have interviews with various people in cast and crew of TDK...and maybe...just MAYBE...have interviews with Jack Nicolsin, Mark Hamil, and Ceaser Ramero (or however u spell it).

I would leave joker cards everywhere. Put them in places where people will go "what the? Im gonna check that out" every time they see it and I will scribble 7-18-08 on the back of every single card. I would also gather a group of friends, paint our faces as the Joker, walk around places where alot of people gather(walmart, the mall, parks, football games, and whatnot), and leave the joker cards in suspicious places as stated above.

I didn't bother reading all of the pages but my viral marketing would consist of a phone game.

You ring the number and there's a scrambled message on the other end, as more people call, the message get's clearer and clearer.

Which this message then gives you a website to follow, thus leading you closer and closer to a trailer which by this time it would be released.

As for the Joker cards in public places, I can't stress how funny it would be to see a Joker card being put in cereal boxes.

As for the cereal, of course it would only be "BatBreak"
