Whats a good series for someone starting off in Marvel?

It was easily the best. I hear Gail Simone's was good too, but I haven't read it. At the time, I think I didn't like UDON very much. Priest's run wasn't as good as Kelly's and his jokes got a bit repetitive, but he did have a knack for finding some pretty humorous situations to put DP in--like direct conflict with Thor (while his face looked identical to "Thom Cruz's," no less) and being cursed with immortality because Death had a crush on him.

Yeah. I was steadfastly opposed to anything anime-like in high school, but I've since come to appreciate aspects of it. UDON are pretty good storytellers, and their style isn't too bad now that I look it at after years of developing my tastes.

It's all part of growing up. 'Cause, y'know, there's a time, and in that time you gotta show you're growing and that, in fact, you know about a certain something. And that something is the facts of life.

Now that I think about it, the reason I like or don't like comic book creators now that I did or didn't as a kid isn't so much that my tastes have changed. It's because they've either gotten a lot better, or a lot worse with their respective crafts.
