"Raven Boys" by Maggie Stiefvater

It was okay - not much more than that, though, IMO. Beginning of the book didn't really grip me and I found myself not really caring about ANY of the characters until about 3/4 of the way through the book (which is kind of too little too late for me) - I might give the 2nd book a try, but it's not high on my 'to read' list

Summertide by Charles Sheffield

First book in the Heritage series. It AMAZES me how much of Mass Effect was swiped from this. I don't know if they've acknowledged this or not but somebody should have a law suit or something. :o

i started The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks last night

Veronica Mars: The Thousand Dollar Tan Line ~ Rob Thomas and Jennifer Graham

Finshed I, Jedi by Michael A Stackpole and loved it.

Was at the thrift store the other day and picked up The Black Magician's trilogy. Going to start that tonight.

i'm about halfway through The Longest Ride now

i finished The Longest Ride yesterday, read a little of City of Fallen Angels today. it's my in-between book aka im not in a hurry to finish it lol

i'm about halfway through Miss Peregrine's School for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs right now. almost tempted to finish it tonight

Backroads to Hollywood: The Biography of Phillip Noyce. Really enjoyed it. Sometimes a the writer gets a little too sycophantic in places, but that's true of many books of this nature. Very good detail covering all his productions up to and including The Quite American.

Stephen King's Misery - LOVING this book. The first I've read of Kings. My only disappointment is that I'm now just over half-way through. So I'll be taking recommendations... :)

"Splintered" and "Unhinged" (Splintered Book 2) by A.G. Howard.

An interesting take on kind of modern sequel to Alice in Wonderland. There were a couple things in Unhinged that I predicted when I started reading it and sure enough, by the end.... they did. But I wasn't bothered by my ability to predict. It'll be interesting to read Book 3 "Ensnared" when it comes out next January.

On a different note, a book I read a bit ago and mentioned here - "Not a Drop to Drink" by my sister's friend Mindy McGinnis - it's been announced that it's been optioned by Stephenie Meyer's production company. A film of that book cold be very interesting (it would most definitely have to be at least PG-13)

still working on City of Fallen Angels, just under a third of it underway
