I own it and have gotten about a 100 pages into it. It's a beast and no light read. It's two different stories. Some pages have words upside down, different languages, musical notes, passages that require a mirror to read. Some pages have one word, some have words only around the border of the page, words configured like a ladder, words out of order...It's insane.

I think the next book I'm going to get is House of Leaves. Has anyone here read it and what are your thoughts on it?

Haven't read it but I plan too. Don't really know that much about it other than everyone who mentions it online insists on writing house in blue.

Which is kind of neat in a meta way. I don't even know what it's about. I kind of get a Twin Peaks vibe from it based on what few discussions I've glimpsed but that might be way off base. It's hard to get a proper understanding of something while also being careful to avoid spoilers.
