Just finished re-reading The Neverending Story by Michael Ende for about the 20th time, it was my favourite book as a child and it just never ever gets old. The book is so vastly superior to it's movie adaption that it's a real shame that most people are only familiar with the film. And I say that as someone who actually likes the film in it's own way, but not the cinematic abortions that were the sequels. :argh:
