Pan's Labyrinth. Visually and psychologically, a masterpiece.

Real Steel

The Howling. Probably the best werewolf movie ever made.

Hellboy. It's remarkable that this movie was made for 60 million dollars. Such amazing visuals. Pearlman is brilliant as ol Red. Love this movie.

I love this movie. It inspired to to get into Mignola's comics, then Lovecraft's work, then try my hand at leisurely writing.

The love subplot was really funny and the stuff in the Mausoleum looked amazing. The fantastic creatures in the sequel were great, too. Makes me think Del Toro should do the Elric saga. He'd have a visual field day with the novella Stormbringer.

My just watched: Dragons of Autumn Twilight. First mistake was advertising it as a Dungeons and Dragons movie. The second was cramming a 300-400 page book into 90 minutes. The third was using horrid CG for the draconians and dragons. :o

I thought I had seen Cage's craziest performance before, but this role took the cake.

That poster is so decieving in at least four ways.

This movie took such an awful and strange turn. After Cage died I was pretty much wondering when the movie was gonne end. Then comes the pointless Charlie Sheen scene and then comes the man with the metallic claw for a hand.

That poster is deceiving in that Cage doesn't look anything like that in the movie.

I've never switched a movie off because of an actor's bad accent before but, people, my God! Julia Roberts' Irish accent is so excruciating it's almost physically painful...

Yeah, once Cage died I turned to my girl and said that this movie just went downhill fast.

He was awesome in this movie. He turned up his over the top craziness to 11, hell even 12.

I love those last scenes from the strip club on.

"FUUUUUUUUUU...." :woot:

Cage - "Who sent you man!?"
Cage - "Who sent you man!?"
Killer - "Sam F'ing Peckinpah"
Cage - "YEEEAAAAAGGGH!"

By far the goofiest of the Bond movies I've seen, but in a charming way. It would have benefitted from being shorter though. Toward the beginning, I felt like I was waiting for something exciting to happen. It got better as it progressed, however, and got really fun once they all went into space. Plus, it has one of the better Bond puns.

(Bond and Holly are having sex under a space blanket while their superiors and country leaders watch)
British Leader: "What in God's name is he doing?"
Q: "I believe he's attempting re-entry, sir."

It's the single most hilariously insane performance by an actor i've ever seen.

Nic Cage is God.
