I figured it'd put this in here because most of his work has been at Marvel.

But anyway, what's your pinion of his work? Personally I really like his stuff, and I see him as one of my favourite artists in the business. I can see how his style could be off-putting due to some of his more stylized choices, but that's part of why I like it.

But what do you think of his work?

I love it. He's been one of the best artists in the comic industry for almost as long as he's been working in the comic industry.

He's an amazing story teller. But sometimes his character models and faces can be a bit... iffy.

That's how i'd sum him up.

I've noticed that usually depends on his pace. When he's drawing two monthlies at once, his level of detail definitely suffers. But, on the other hand, put any of today's other big-name artists on that schedule and they'd probably be ten times worse than JR Jr.

I really love Romita Jr's style. Bugs me when people complain about it.

I love Romita, he is one of my absolute favorites. Although, sometimes i think when he's paired with the wrong inker or colorist, his work suffers greatly. His art on Bendis' Avengers just looks....off to me.

Same here.

I was really excited for his work on "Avengers", since I usually think his stuff is at least alright, but it's been way too rushed. Every male looks the same from the shoulders up.

I like his stuff.

Loved his darker DD stuff and then he can go ahead and draw Kirby style on "eternals"..vibrant and full of creativity.

He is one guy I'm glad Marvel did not Drive away

He is a guy who is stylized somewhat, but i tend to like his styles

I like his style, sketchy and still able to make out what's going on, his work on X-Men with Chris Claremont and then again in the 90's was good.

I would love to one day see him tackle DC. I could picture him drawing the hell out of a Superman book.

Love his work, just hate the way he draws Iron Man. His armor is supposed to be smooth and sleek, yet JRJR always draws him extremely bulky with coffee can boots.

Most of his older work I love, but lately (especially on Avengers) it's looked like trash.

I wish there was an option for used to be good because he once was great but has gone downhill since the Avengers relaunch.

When I first got back into comics seriously, it was with Spider-Man when Romita was drawing it, so I have a real soft spot for him.

I really disliked Romita Jr at first but he grew on me, especially on his Thor run about 10 years ago.

See, along these lines, part of my opinion of an artist is how he draws Spider-Man's eyes. His style is pretty definitive to me. If they were going to do a true live action film series that was faithful to the comics (similar to the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon), I would want the costume designer follow Romita Jr's Spidey eyes.

Romita's one of my favorite artists and one of the people who got me interested in comics in the first place. Straczynski/Romita Spider-Man was one of the first comics I read, and it was absolutely enthralling. The feel it gave to the book was the perfect complement for the writing. And even series that weren't as well written, his art still made them better.

I used to be okay with it, but noow I can't stand it.

It's all a lot of vertical lines.....everything seems to thin.....I'm just not a fan

I liked him in the 80s, but as the 90s wore on his style got more boxy and sketchy, and that I just don't like.

He really knoww how to draw action scenes. His Spidey runs and his Black Panther run really shows what he can do, but one issue focusing on Abomination in the Hulk was my favorite of his.
