Doesn't Captain America originate in WWII?

YEp. It's set in WW2... The word on the street is it ends with a modern day-set scene of Cap being thawed out.

Yea its been stated many times captain america will indeed be taking place during the 40s of WW2. But will have some modern bookends. Ie we probably see cap frozen towards the end and final scene with him getting thawed out in present day.
