When should a teaser trailer be shown?

I know we all wat another Punisher movie but what movie should the trailer be connected too. Transformers or something more down the road.

Usually you don't see a preview for a rated R movie before a PG-13 movie, so most likely it will be for another one of LGF's horror movies since they make quite a lot of those these days.

No idea when a teaser could be shown, but I would say sometime in 07.

According to wikipedia, it says in 2004 that Tom Jane and Steve Niles had an idea for a story for the film. It could be interesting if Niles wrote the script. Highly unlikely but interesting.

I asked Steve online (I put this in the Punisher update thread) and he said he had no idea who's writing it. So either he's being professionaly silent or he really has no idea.
