When the Wrestling Thread Got the Answers, HE Changed the Questions

The weird thing is that "racist" interview he did happened 3 years ago. While it was a poor choice of words, he wasn't being malicious about it.

WWE publicly standing against comments that most likely wouldn't get someone fired from the company had they not leaked. WWE truly are leading the fight....against bad PR.

His older brother died. Feel bad now?

That's sad to hear but it doesn't change the fact that he offers nothing on commentary anymore. He needs a completely different role in the WWE. He should be doing those exclusive interviews with people instead of Cole or something along those lines.

Wow,Hogan may have been caught on tape going on a racist tirade.

Booker T started it. :o

To be honest I don't think dropping a racial slur is worth scrubbing off decades of work for the WWE, as if he never existed. He's a part of the history. We don't have to like him, but you can't just pretend he wasn't here.

Well I read that apparently Hogan made this comment regarding The Rock...

An uppity half-breed ****** undeserving of his success.

I listened to the audio. It's only 1:47, there might be more, I'm not sure, but what he said wasn't him being racist one bit. Though, I get WWE trying to get ahead of this. I guess we all forgot when Vince said the N word on live TV once and paraded around the arena in a durag.

That's from a "satire" site that doesn't understand what satire is.

At this point we don't know why he's been dropped, it's all rumours and hearsay.

Ok. I just saw it passed on by someone else.

That radio interview isn't what this is apparently about. This is new audio.

WWE employs Michael Hayes, so as much as I rag on Hogan, I doubt this is anything but avoiding negative press.

Well, here's some of it. It's not good...

Edit. Search on National Enquirer for it. Just realized there's an instance of profanity in the story that they missed censoring.

Hmm I wonder if he'll be cut from the up coming game as well seeing as the nwo were rumoured to be part of the Austin mode

What is up with some people and racial slurs?

I go through my daily life easily enough without using derogatory racial slurs as part of my daily vocabulary but for some people this seems like a hard thing to do.

The stuff Hogan said about his daughter was weird.

Yeah, but it's okay for Michael Hayes to use that word, because he's black, apparently.

Just read the article. I want to say I'm surprised at what he said but for some reason I'm not. He's never been spoken highly of by other people in the industry so this just further proves their points.

Will he be replaced on Tough Enough. Maybe they will do the smart thing and actually have the judges pick someone for te chopping block. I'd actually also be fine with Miz taking his spot, since his Tough Talk show is better than Tough Enough. Other option is put Jericho on the panel and give full hosting duties to Renee.

Is this thread a parody now? Because some are seeming to imply that Hogan shouldn't have been fired.

I been a WWE/WWF fan since I was a kid ( I am 27 now) and as a black person I always worried about which of my favorite wrestlers ( who happened to be white) were racist or bad people behind the scenes. I knew WWE has a reputation of being kinda racist with people like Micheal Hayes and stunts like sterotypical characters like Crime Tyme. I always liked Hulk but I read reports of him being racist back in the day as well as others but were unsure if they were true until now. I think the WWE did right to cut ties with Hulk. Usually people that say that kind of stuff really feel that way. So even if Hulk releases an apology, it won't change his racism or racist views. Besides people will look at him differently now ( I certainly do.

To the peole defending Hogan, would you still be defending him if he said something homophobic or a racial slur directed at another minority?
