When will "Gargoyles" get its due?

considering how Eliza and Xanatos were drawn like their voice actors, if they made a movie Sali Richardson and Jonathan Franks should play them. Also get back the David Keith and the rest of the Gargoyles VA for the movie.

i'd definitely get riker back for xanatos, he's absolutely perfect for the part, replacing him with someone else would be incredibly stupid, considering he knows all the character history required.

I'd love to make a Gargoyles movie but Xanatos would need to be Jonathan Frakes and I'd want Keith David to be in it too.

I'd actually like a dark movie where Gargoyles are more anti-heroes. I'd want to keep them in the shadows with there bright white eyes all that could be seen. I donno if I would have the Gargoyles talk and if they did I would keep it to a minimum

except for the trails of annointment for lion-o where he had to take down the other cats and mumra without his claw or sword, the rest of the eps were pretty damn rubbish...

except for that one where lion-o is being taught to drive the thundertank and the first ep with cheetarah naked...

at first when i saw this thread, i thought perhaps it wouldn't be a good idea but this is based purely on the fact that story was sometimes far too complex to be translated into a film, i mean honestly some of their story arcs were just amazing.

however if we are going to base it on the first arc and tell the old story how they were betrayed by humans and the curse and how xanatos brings them back, it would potentially make a really good film just over 2 hrs in length.

if marketed correctly and brought out around halloween, this cuold be as big a phenomenon as perhaps harry potter is.

Ah but she is a great actress who has before played against her ethnicity as Spanish, and I was thinking more that way.

That is why I like Rosario Dawson forr the role, but she is not native American. That combination of heritage is hard to find in most actors, you do realize.

Thundercats was crap. Bad '80s cartoon with no story or characters. About as much depth as Power Rangers or Speed Racer.

Gargoyles in its prime (and it was short lived) was as strong as BTAS or a Dini/Timm storyline. That is why it is still on other networks today. Toonami ditched Thundercats like a bad habit after it got the rights to shows like BTAS, DBZ and Gundam Wing.

I'd LOVE to see a Gargoyles movie. I've been wanting it for years and think it can be done. A PG-13 Gargoyles movie with Keith David reprising Goliath's voice. Sean Connery or Gimli would be good as the Scottish gargoyle because let's face it, Ed Asner wasn't really good at doing a Scottish accent.

The other gargoyle voice-actors could return and reprise their roles but as for the humans I'm not sure.
