Lois said 3 big words to Clark a little while ago. We know its not Marry Me Clark. I would like to know and see if she is pregnant or not. And its not "Hey, Leno's on"

Anyone know when the comic that will explain this is coming out?:supes: :batman:

she couldnt be pregnant, it's been established that Supes uh..."boys" arent capable of that with an earth chick :o

No, it hasn't. When has it ever been established that a human and a Kryptonian are capable of mating?

I think it happen a few issues a go and it was just 'Go get'em'.

I dont know when specifically, but I'm fairly sure I saw it in Supermans wikipedia entry :o

Seems odd, since Superman has said more than a few times that it's very unlikely.

I think it has been specifically stated but one definite case i know is maxima. During maximas third appearence, she told superman that their dna was compatible to make a child. This leads me to believe that earth chicks can get pregnant by supes kind.

Also that other supergirl was a question for clark since he didnt see how it was possible.

Though with comic books where a man can fly on his own willpower, i dont take it as stone. Hell superboy has shown us that its possible to manipulate the dna of a kryptonian and human without the being himself be destroyed by the fusion. Also superman has had his body and dna manipulated so many times............

I know this is outside of the normal Superman universe, but didn't Wonder Woman give birth to Superman's baby in The Kingdom, and she's definitely no Kryptonian.

She's also not human.

Yup......she's got an incredible uterus........something, I don't think, Lois has.

There's this idea that if Superman is powerless.......like in Superman II or in OYL, that he suddenly becomes "human"........I mean, forget that fact that he was born on Krypton and that his biology isn't human at all.....he's suddenly human.....and that since he is, he can get Lois pregnant.

I dunno, science would say that if he can get Lois pregnant without powers....why not beable to do it with powers? I mean, his biology doesn't change and he's still got alien blood.

ChrisBaleBatman has a good point. I still think that it would take awhile for the kryptonian and human DNA to figure itself out and create a fetus. They could always go to Cadmus or S.T.A.R. Labs.

Guy's, he was depowered recently for a reason! (wink*wink) He had no powers, during that time you know he was still fulfilling Lois and her needs, and accidents happen when Kryptonite Condoms are not needed.

the movie mallrats clears up all the mating issues

Taking away his powers isn't going to make him any less of a kryptonian, so if he could not impregnate Lois before losing his powers, there's no reason why he'd suddenly be able to give her a child after losing his powers.

Of course, this argument might be entirely moot to begin with; we don't even know for certain that kryptonian and human DNA isn't compatible. For all we know, they might have been able to reproduce this whole time. Not that I want them to have a kid. I don't. But I can see how it could come about.

It actually has been stated that they CAN mate, by Myx. When he gave them that taste of having a kid, as he leaves i believe, he tells supes they can have kids.

And it hasn't been stated that they will eventually have a child, right? Also, why did they only stop with one child? Most comic book heroes have more than 1 child. Pre-crisis, Batman had I believe at least 3 children. Green Arrow had one child, Barry Allen had twins, and so on. So now there is Jason in the movie, and a daughter in the comics? I'm hoping they have the child soon. Didn't Wonder Woman have a daughter? Also, do Terry McGuiness and his little brother Matt count as Bruce's sons, or just in Batman Beyond?
