So would Bishop and Cable. The whole alternate future thing was farfetched even in the comics.
Final.
Umm, you're not qualified to speak for all 'us' X-Men fans. I haven't been waiting for the director to bring in any of the above characters thank you very much. If anything, I actively don't want to see them introduced.Jplaya2023 said:nope it wouldnt. Us xmen fans have been waiting for years for the director to include these chars for the movies and were not gonna stop until their there

Because Bishop, Cable and Apocalypse would be thinking outside the box? Hardly.DrVenkman90 said:jplayer i am with you, you people need to think outside the box. i think it would be a good idea!
Endeavor said:For that matter where are: Polaris, Havok, Moira McTaggert, Lockheed, Warlock, Karma, Mirage, Magma, Wolvesbane, Warpath, Sunfire, Silver Samurai, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Guido, Magik, Psylocke, Dazzler, Spiral, Sunspot, Boom Boom, Husk, Chamber, Skin, Selene, Bolivar Trask, The Sentinels, The Blob, Sauron, Tempo, Calisto (or any of the other Morlocks), Sinister, Dark Beast, Sugarman, Marrow, Cameron Hodge, Fabian Cortez, Exodus, Omega Red, etc and so on...
Point is, you can't include everybody. There's too many.

For decades now apoc, cable bishop, have been the backbones for the xmen franchise besides the actual xmen and magneto

WalkingDead said:Bishop is the ONLY one of the characters you listed that was anything close to a backbone of the X-Men comics. (who if he does get a cameo it would only be either during the Prison Break in X3 or as a random background guy that has nothign to do with his comic version) He is a very cool character and one that I thoroughly enjoyed during the semi-disappointing 90's X-Men comics, but the time-traveling and alternate realities stuff isn't going to work for the movies at this point.
Cable is a character for his own thing, and doesn't need to be some great big X-Men tie-in or anything.
And Apocalyse as a backbone villain...please...The Blob, Pyro, and Toad are more backbone villains to the X-Men than Apocalyse. Now I like Apocalyse for when he was used well (which isn't a whole lot, but still). He just doesn't need to be brought in to the X-Men movie Franchise...it would be way too complicated.
X-Maniac said:The best suggestion for Bishop was made on this forum, where he was adapted into a police officer living in the X-Men's current time, who has the power to absorb energy (including chronal energy = time). This time absorption would give him flashes of the future, of Phoenix, and maybe even of events beyond that.
