Where Is Gambit, Bishop, Cable, & Apocolyspe (sp) In This Movie?!?!?

I'd prefer, any role-just have him do something and have a scene with rogue and i'd be happy. And don't tell me fox can't do that, cause they found a way to increase crappy shadowcat so they can fit gambit into x-3.

Get a grip, dude! Bringing Apocalypse into a movie would suck ape nuts!
So would Bishop and Cable. The whole alternate future thing was farfetched even in the comics.

Final.

I don't want to see Cable in any X-Movies.

Bishop and Apocalypse is too early for X3, but i want them in X4.

Umm, you're not qualified to speak for all 'us' X-Men fans. I haven't been waiting for the director to bring in any of the above characters thank you very much. If anything, I actively don't want to see them introduced.

Well, thats all nice to hope... but the truth is, is that it most likely won't happen. I'm pretty sure that Cable and most likely Bishop will never make it into an X-men movie that is affiliated with the three that are made or are being made. So, yeah, its okay that you want these characters and storylines but I'm close to sure that it won't happen.

By the way... I'm an X-Fan and I don't want those characters. Please don't speak on behalf of practically everyone at the X-men boards, because, you'd think that they may also be fans too.

jplayer i am with you, you people need to think outside the box. i think it would be a good idea!

For that matter where are: Polaris, Havok, Moira McTaggert, Lockheed, Warlock, Karma, Mirage, Magma, Wolvesbane, Warpath, Sunfire, Silver Samurai, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Guido, Magik, Psylocke, Dazzler, Spiral, Sunspot, Boom Boom, Husk, Chamber, Skin, Selene, Bolivar Trask, The Sentinels, The Blob, Sauron, Tempo, Calisto (or any of the other Morlocks), Sinister, Dark Beast, Sugarman, Marrow, Cameron Hodge, Fabian Cortez, Exodus, Omega Red, etc and so on...
Point is, you can't include everybody. There's too many.

Moira McTaggert is awesome so someone at fox who is listening to me. PUT HER IN THAT MOVIE!

Because Bishop, Cable and Apocalypse would be thinking outside the box? Hardly.

Cable wouldn't be able to fit. His storyline is a tad confusing for the general audience who doesn't really know who he is. Cable needs his own storyline to work.

I hope not . . .

The only way you'd ever get a decent to good movie with Cable and Apocalypse is to put them in their own Spin-Off movie.
I like the characters, but I do NOT want them in ANY X-Men movie. A Cable movie, fine, but not in the X-Men Franchise.

Archangel, even though he's a fav of mine, does not need to be forced out just so we can have him either. No reason to include Apocalyse to just get Archangel. In fact there is very little use for Apocalyspe within this current Franchise. It just wouldn't make a lot of sense. Plus Apocalyse is one of those God-Like characters that seems a bit too much for any movie, other than a Cable spin-off.

Onslaught? Are you serious? Onslaught was one of the many reasons that practically buried Marvel in the late 90's. 1998 Marvel went bankrupt...does that say anything? I think it does. I mean first off it would take 3 movies to bring in Onsalught, if you want ANY kind of characterization and development. Onsalught is just way too much for any X-Men movie PERIOD.

i mean the main chars to the franchise.

For decades now apoc, cable bishop, have been the backbones for the xmen franchise besides the actual xmen and magneto

Bishop is the ONLY one of the characters you listed that was anything close to a backbone of the X-Men comics. (who if he does get a cameo it would only be either during the Prison Break in X3 or as a random background guy that has nothign to do with his comic version) He is a very cool character and one that I thoroughly enjoyed during the semi-disappointing 90's X-Men comics, but the time-traveling and alternate realities stuff isn't going to work for the movies at this point.

Cable is a character for his own thing, and doesn't need to be some great big X-Men tie-in or anything.

And Apocalyse as a backbone villain...please...The Blob, Pyro, and Toad are more backbone villains to the X-Men than Apocalyse. Now I like Apocalyse for when he was used well (which isn't a whole lot, but still). He just doesn't need to be brought in to the X-Men movie Franchise...it would be way too complicated.

I disagree. I don't think anybody can rightly call Cable, Bishop OR Apocalypse the backbone of anything (and that's not to say I dislike the characters, because I do... 2 out of the 3 anyway). Of the list I provided, which is by no means complete, The Sentinels, Polaris, Moira McTaggert, The Blob and even Sauron have been around longer than any of the 3 you mentioned. Certainly you can agree that the Sentinels will be more integral to the overall X-Men franchise/history than anything else. After all they are the prime example of the underlying theme within the X-Universe, the extremes to which human prejudice can go. None of the 3 characters you mentioned can do that.
So no, I don't think of them as main characters or even key/central ones.

the blob and pyro were only good in the videogame game in the arcade. I agree cable needs his own thing but bishop could be a major factor, and apoc could be somewhere down the line. Like an X-men vs apoc movie in an all out brawl or something

The x-men titles have been out for a long time, with lots of characters and villians and these 3 are relatively recent(about 15 years)There's no reason to jump straight to the end of the book for higher box office

bishop would be the only one (other than gambit) to make it to and x-men movie because you can easily include him in the movie universe. and with cable and apocolypse

cable could be the child of jean and cyclops maybe a cameo in x3 as a baby or jean pregnant with him?

maybe the x-kids could be watching a special on the history of mutants and they mention a egyption mutant name en sabah nur wh owas said to be the first and most powerful mutant and ancient legends from egypt and othe cultures say he was a tyrant and is the eternal one can never die? that be intersting.... actually the way they explained him in x-men evolution was very good maybe just to a few changes to that and possibly use that?

and of course simply make bishop a formal criminal who changed is life aorund and is now a police officer for the nypd, maybe a cameo in x3 and then a major player in x4 and their you have it not that hard i dont know why you people think bishop cant make an appearence in a x-men movie. it pretty easy to include him and i would like to see him in one.

hmmm i think that would be cool but i think if they came back from the future it would be awesome

Isn't there a video game coming out with all these Characters? I played the first X men legends and it did really well tieing in all arcs and bringing the Characters together... I would just be thankful of what Marvel is giving us. If you aren't getting what you want in the movie,

Read the comics and use your imagination or

Play the X men Legends games. I think the next one will be real good!

Thanks.

The best suggestion for Bishop was made on this forum, where he was adapted into a police officer living in the X-Men's current time, who has the power to absorb energy (including chronal energy = time). This time absorption would give him flashes of the future, of Phoenix, and maybe even of events beyond that.

Thank you for the compliment. Its my idea, I've been pitching it around these forums for a while. I know he's not gonna make this film, but I'd love to see Keith Hamilton Cobb playing Bishop in X4, if there is one. Hopefully, someone at Fox is reading....
