Where should I go for my MORPG fix?

I played FFXI for a long time and it was a REALLY fun game and I loved it but I got to a point where it took too long to get a party or do anything worthwhile. So it's like a really hot ex-girlfriend who's just a total ***** that cheats on you. You love it but can't go back to it.
I tried world of warcraft which got mega boring and I can't stand playing on my PC, but I'd give it a shot if there was one worth playing

If you're looking for one on the consoles, you're out of luck right now. Hellgate will be for the PC before the 360.
