Sequels Where's the talk of X-Factor?

If Fox is considering Gambit and Mystique films, then why not put them both in an X-Factor film as co-leads?

I mean, it's also a great opportunity to bring in Multiple Man, Rictor and Polaris and assuming they have the effects to pull it off, also put Strong Guy in. Valerie Cooper and Forge will both be present around the base with Forge as the team's mechanic and Val as the team's superior who's less than thrilled with how Mystique runs things.

Tonally, this will be far lighter than other films in the X-Men universe and would be more like Rush Hour with the meta awareness of Inglorous Basterds. Tons of running gags, one-liners and occasionally shifts in how the film presents itself with subtitles and framing to remind the audience that it doesn't take itself the least bit seriously.

Let's talk when Mystique and gambit are actual In solo films. For now they are like deadpool. Hell X-force has a script and who knows when it will ever be made.

Agreed. Fox has other X titles that are gonna take priority. Until those get green lit and are proved profitable there's no way X Factor is gonna be a consideration. They just have too many other projects ready to go.

Would it be cool? Definitely. But it's not realistic at all right now.

"Considering" doesn't mean they will happen.

In 5 years from now, I don't think Fox will ever release a X-Men film without a single character (in a lead role) from the 1st X-Men film.

I mean replace both solo films with X-Factor. That consolidates both into one project which saves money.

I think X-Factor would cost more money than Gambit/Mystique. X Factor would probably showcase more mutants. While Mystique/Gambit could go with The-Wolverine/low scale route.
