I dont personally want them to either recast or reboot the x-men movie series, because i feel that the X-Men Universe has thousands of characters and areas yet to have been explored. Now i feel that the movies doesnt have enough time to explain groups or followers or social dynamics that a TV series could develope. So i feel that with X-Factor Investigations you would have the right channel to retell some of the x-men stories through an ulternative medium... and using the pre-exisitng x-men movies as canon, we continue the canon movie history with the tv series.

I can see X-Factor Investigations being a multi-layered series with a story arch holding it together...Because of this i forsee that we could easily have a total of 7 series before the show would intitally start to become stail.

Let me give you a breakdown of these series as story archs, characters and situations.

X-Factor Investigations: Series 1 - The first series would be the set up of the business and the development of the characters. it will also tie closely with the movies to show the tie ins that established this series. Here are some of the factors...
> The Explination to the change of heart Jamie Madrox has from X3 where he was working for Magneto, to starting up a detective agency. My answer would be to simply explain that Magneto freed one of Madrox's dupes who was a little off, the real madrox sent out quiet a few dupes to experiance the world so he could later re-absorbed them and learn there skills, however not every dupe wants to be reabsorbed. This could be a re-occuring factor in the series by taking dupes from the comics like one of Madrox Dupes who took up Priest Hood, has a family and goes by the name John. However the real Madrox lets him have his own life. So we have that.
> The second key factor would be the relationship and ties Muir Island has with the Xavier instatue and characters such as Siryn and Wolfbane. I think a great way to include this is to show that Muir Island is the college to Xaviers school if mutants want to further there education in mutant science. A tragic storyline we could develope around Siryn would be the death of her father the mutant Banshee, who in the comics died. By including this into the TV series we then have another dimension as well as the Muir Island idea and thus expanding the universe by throwning in a big name like Banshee into the mix.
> The third factor i would like to see is the main villians of the first series as an Arc and i kind of like the idea of having the Friends Of Humanity rear its ugly head. And i think i know how that can be done and tie it in to the x-men pre-exisiting movie universe. - We rebrand the purefiers as the friends of humanity, we look at Strykers effect of what he did after X2 and how the goverment saw his efforts, however although Stryker supposibly dies at the end several soldiers would of lived on, and guessing would carry on Strykers efforts. What i would like to see is have the character Graydon Creed tie this up, why? well apart from being the son of a mutant that Stryker once had under his employement, Graydon doesnt know he is the son of two mutants not only that he hates mutants as Stryker maybe turned him against the idea when Creed joined strykers task force some time previously x2 but after the events of wolverine movie... We dont know if Sabretooth had a son, going by wolverine movie, there was a period where his story disappears and returns so its possible he met mystique and fathered a child with her, he may not even be aware of it. Graydon Creed could run for senator and wants to clean up mutant town to bring back middle-east town as it was formarly known. The first series could tackle there advances and ultimatly coming to the final conclusion and showdown with a cliffhanger series ending.

With the first series, on a standard run for an american tv series we could see characters ranging from, Graydon Creed, John Madrox, Mr.Tryp from the comic, also Arcade, Gauntlet, Sauron in mutant town would be interesting to explain for the first series. He is pratically the male Rogue, only he turns into a green teredactal. We dont want to use all our resources for the first series, but at the same time we have plently to establish several series. I mean moving forward we could have

Series 2 - focusing on the Legacy Virus - and we could see characters like Dr.Nathaiel Essex, Mr Sinister being introduce, maybe the Nasty Boys, Morlocks, Maurders... Possible Gambit cameo... but then we could also look at Siryn being pregnant and maybe as a side story something with Hydra. To give the second series a big ending we could have one of the main cast die to cure the legacy virus... in the comics colossus did that but he asnt an x-factor member so maybe we could do it with Madrox and have him missing in series 3 but later re-appear in later episodes explaining it was a dupe that died.

Series 3 - folloiwng on with Jamie Madrox dying but it isnt the real madrox but a clone, we could do a whole search for spock style story where they try to find out who has the real madrox, could even be madrox himself. But then we could also introduce Longshot and Darwin into the teams giving a new team dynamic and see characters like Wolfbane leave, which is what happend in the comics. Also i feel that Distric X - Bishop and Ishmail could be introduced as minor roles in series 1 and 2 but take a fuller role by series 3.

Series 4 - Could be the end of X-Factor Investigations as Jamie and Siryn go to live a normal life and everyone parts ways but maybe Shield needs them to be active because Hydra who briefly appeared in series 2 has a stronger role in the over story arch for series 4 and they want mutant town for some reason. We could also see a new fraction of the friends of humanity turn into The Purefiers taking more heavyer actions. We could introduce Omega Red and go with his history from the comics. Its an idea.

Series 5 - with X-Factor Investigations re-established and to rejuvinate the show a little, New office in San Fransico. showing how characters sometimes can just up and leave but still be around. We could tie this in with the whole Cure story with Worthington Labs on alcatraz, The Hellfireclubs involvement. and even see Trask come up with the need for a sentinal project. Although nothing to the scale of giant robots. We could have the return of several characters like Sinister, who is a member of the hellfireclub and possibly Graydon Creed, new characters like cameron hodge. This could be setting it up for series 6.

Series 6 - could centre on the rise of apocalpyse or just the idea of a survival of the fittest which would be embeded in previous series but series 6 actually sees an increase, we see the clan akkaba, maybe rockstar john starsmore, apocalypse, mr sinisters master plan to betrayl him. We could see a new take on horsemen, there not enhanced they are just mutants who have turned there back on mutant kind, maybe even have one of the x-factor team member to be one of the horsemen. I would opt to see Quicksilver join the team and have Val Cooper make her presence, plus we could see Forge, havok and polaris as previous x-factor members.

Series 7 - would deal with the aftermath of the apocalpyse and making it the final series we could bring closure to how the show would end with having Madrox and possibly Siryn marrid with a child, Strong Guy runs his bar with his girlfriend, however does X-Factor Investigations stay open when people go from being small to a mega corporation funded by Shield and rebranded as X-Corp or something.
