Days of Future Past Which characters are you most excited for?

Stryker and say ink haven't really been seen doing anything, so they don't really stand out

With toad you can judge him just his look, very different look, whether you prefer that look is the key

I would like to ask people who voted for Wolverine:
- Haven't you had enough already to anticipate him again?
- What is that makes you feel excited?
- Is it the adrenaline?

The character is simply enjoyable as hell. Grumpy, impatient, can provide excellent dry humor and battles with the most aggression. Hugh's performance in The Wolverine helps too, he's just getting better and better at it. I can't help but love the character and Jackman's performances, especially when it's most certainly going to be a good movie. Not going to join the "TOO MUCH WOLVERINE LOL"-crowd and deny my preferences.

Nobody voted for Ink and Stryker...

If I had to take people out of this movie, they'd be mutants. Stryker and Trask as human characters are important and would not want to lose neither of them. Just not that excited about especially Stryker, but I do believe the movie might convince me otherwise.

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is up there with the absolute best in superhero casting.

I agree with you. I really do. But there is a bunch of whole new characters, appearing in the big screen for the first time, so I believe I anticipate more them than Wolverine, who I had seen him already many times. Not that I won't enjoy him. On the contrary.

-No, he's a huge part of this franchise and one of the best comic characters created. Just him taking up all the screen time is an issue.

-What makes me excited for the character is all the potential of being a bad ass in the 70s snikt slashing Sentinels, and interacting with Young Prof X and Magneto.

My anticipation for Iceman has been growing since we saw pictures of him bearded out and fully costumed. Peaked with the last trailer. He looks boss.

Both the past and future Sentinels because they're sentinels

I know wolverine isn't the most popular pick, but I must say I'm more excited than EVER to see wolverine back. Under Singer he is a different beast IMO. I can't wait to have that feeling back.

Professor X (young): because his character arc in the main arc of the movie - lots of unresolved issues from FC that need addressing. Plus, love, love, love James McAvoy.

Magneto (young): total badass, and again, lots of unresolved issues, specifically with Xavier, from FC. And Michael Fassbender is all kinds of awesome.

Mystique: want to see how her character has developed since FC. Plus, she's blue.

Professor X (elder): want to see how his and Erik's plotlines come full circle.
Magneto (elder): same reasons as above.

Sentinels (future): Gotta see what these creepy things do.

Wolverine: Because the last three X-movies I've seen him in, I didn't like (sorry, The Wolverine was meh, IMO). So here's hoping he'll be in a good X-movie.

Blink: Her powers just look so cool. And we need more female X-men.

Beast: Want to see what he's up to, and his interactions with Xavier & Wolverine should be great.

Quicksilver: Haha--just the TV spot made me excited to see him.

Shadowcat: Love Ellen Page--one of the few good things in X3.

Iceman: Awesome powers--his look just rocks!

Sentinels (past): Love how they look so different from the future counterparts.

Storm: I never liked Hallee Berry in this role--good actress, but they need a woman with much more presence for this part. Still, her powers are cool and I really want to see what happens to her from the trailer.

Other characters are background music, there to add to the suspense and cool visuals.

Overall, the Charles/Erik dynamic is what I want to see the most, how these characters develop and what paths they take. Plus, there's a lot of unresolved stuff from FC that has to be addressed. Can't wait!
