X-men Origins: Wolverine will come out only May 1, but we alredy know some of the sparrings Wolverine will have to face in his first Spin-off. Which are you more anxious to see?

Can't wait to see Gambit with the bo staff.

all of them sound great to me, but deadpool and gambit are def. my top choices!

Gambit!
then creed or deadpool ?? aahh i dunno i just wanna see some footage

They're all bound to be awesome...Can't decide. I'm sure there'll be some other cool scenes..

Like Wolverine vs Everybody :p

4. Wolverine VS. Agent Zero
3. Wolverine VS. Gambit
2. Wolverine VS. Sabretooth
1. Wolverine VS. Deadpool

I'm looking forward to all fights, but the ones I'm really excited for are:

4. Other - I'd like to be surprised by a fight. So, I'm excited for the unexpected.
3. Gambit - Though I'm not a huge fan of the character, I do think he'd provide for an awesome visual. And, well, he's just plain fun.
2. Deadpool - Pretty much goes without saying. But Deadpool's a great fighter and is one character I'm very much anticipating.
1. Sabretooth - He's such an important character in Wolverine's life, and I think that makes a fight with him so intense. I'm also very intereted to see how their fight(s) compare to that of X-Men's.

I'm really excited about his fight with the Blob, I don't know why, I just am. Also Dead Pool, but that's a given.

Sabretooth for sure

All of them! However, if I had to choose, it would be Deadpool, Gambit, and Sabertooth.

Should blow it out of the water.

Wolverine Vs Sabretooth was pretty lame in X1 (both times) :csad:...& they've had 9 years to think up something better!

I'm for the fight that has the most viceral depiction of blade battles. No fencing ****, no stabbing action. I want bloody slicing and dicing. Just like in Pathfinder.

I've never been impressed with the Wolvie fights in the X-men movies. They never managed to capture the intensity and raw energy I associate with the character. I imagine a Wolverine fight similar to the Bourne fight scenes, with less frantic cut scenes, and more knives and cutting.

X2 was the closest they could get without going rated-R. For a guy whose memory was lost he did pretty well. He went for the right spots.

The mansion fight was okay, but the Lady Deathstrike fight was pretty "meh" to me. Too much wire work stuff. Not only that, but I want Wolverine to look like he's somewhat trained, he doesn't need to look like Bruce Lee, but look like he knows what he's doing. In the X-men movies he looked like a brawler with claws.

And I'm not talking more blood, I just want the fights to seem more intense, faster and a more intense, yet effective looking fighting coreographing. Something like the way they have Bond fight in the new Bond movies. Short quick blows, each directed for a kill shot. Fights that still have that brutal intensity, yet you can tell both combantants have training.

Final battle between Wolverine and Sabertooth.

I just wanted to clarify... because if they made this movie right, they fight a whole bunch of times.

I thought the wirework emphasized just how strong those two were. These guys can leap very high for their size, so the momentum is greater. Since Wolverine had lost his memory in the X-Men films most of his moves at that time would have to by instinct. This isn't the Logan who was discovered by the Hudsons and inducted into Alpha Flight. That's why I was impressed with the mansion battle because he actually went for the vital spots in his targets. I think he even cut off a guys head after he stabbed his foot.

I'll let my avatar answer that question.

As for the X-Men movies go, the only real fights that captured Wolverine and his brutal fighting tactics were the mansion raid in X2 and the forest rage in X-Men: The Last Stand.

All of the other fights in the trilogy, especially Wolverine vs. Lady Deathstrike in X2, were over choreographed, tamed down, cheesy battles.

I actually prefer Wolverine vs. Sabretooth in X-Men (either fight) to Wolverine vs. Lady Deathstrike in X2.

But in X-Men Sabretooth sent Logan flying like a cartoon character. When Wolverine fought Lady Deathstrike we got some great hits, like trapping and stab in the bicep. They kept slashing each other in the face but their adamantium protected their skulls. Wolverine tried manueuvering around Deathstrike, but she was faster and still had her skills.
