The first Iron Man with it being the first out of the Marvel Studios gates also had the best post-credit scene because it gave the audience anticipation that huge things are coming.

All the other Marvel post-credit scenes seem like an afterthought.

I went with Avengers. Thanos on the big screen. The Infinity Gauntlet is Marvel's greatest tale and we are getting it now.

By the way OP you missed one: Cap waking up in TFA. That's technically a post credits scene (like TIH). It's only where it is because of the avengers teaser.

I always preferred Secret Wars to the Infinity Guantlet, myself. But TA1's after credits scene was quite a good one at any rate.

For me it is still Iron Man. I had no idea Iron Man was a stepping stone to the Avengers going in so the after credit scene blow me away.

The Iron Man 2 after credit scene would have been my favourite but some git spoiled it for me so there wasn't the wow factor that I would have got if I have seen it fresh.

I will also say that Marvel have the movie general audience well trained at this point as people were waiting for an after credit scene for TMNT (there wasn't one) and TMNT has nothing to do with Marvel or DC.
