Which game is the best by popularity?

For me, Splinter Cell is the better game because it has a lot more intriguing gameplay mechanics and is actually a real "stealth"-based game instead of being one in name only like MGS.

Uhh...because DACMAN and Manny were bashing the **** out of MGS so much it hurt the thread maker's fragile sensitivities to the point where he made another thread with the hope of seeing even more unadulterated praise about his favorite game.
