Not to mention Halo and Halo 2 have more reviews than both MGS games which makes it rank higher. 109 and 90 reviews compared to 75, and 34.

What doesn't having more reviews do? It could be good or bad, depending. And no, I'm talking about us, gamer opinions. MGS has defeated SC and Halo in polls, who else wants to go down?

My point is if you look at more than just those that float around a superhero movie site, MGS gets owned. This place represents what? 30 people? Gamerankings and sales shows not only the gaming community as a whole and how they rated it, but sales show how much people enjoy it. In that sense, Halo kills MGS. Sales is popularity.

And more reviews are more likely to bring down a game than move it up. That's why they have to have a minimum of 20 reviews before they even put it into their list of top games.

GTA sales are through the roof. I wanna say Vice City is like 15 mil. I can grab the actual numbers if you want.

Both Halo games sold more than ALL of the MGS games?!

Wow, that's a schocker, an even bigger one considering the Xbox had less than half the number of consoles in the market as the PS2. That's quite an astonishing feat, and really goes to show how popular Halo really is.
