i wonder how close it would be if it was sonic 2 against mario 3????
Indeed they do. Which is why Yuji Naka left Sonic Team. So I don't know whether or not my Sonic DC, signed by the man himself would get me much moneys. I'm guessing it will.
Oh, and you mentioned Sonic and the Secret Rings earlier. Rented it for my Wii recently. Basically, you've got a ton of Sonic levels...just running around. The Wii controller is pretty awkward for it, as you've gotta push the Wiimote forward for jumping, and you've bizarrely gotta bring the Wiimote close to you if you want Sonic to step backwards.
The gameplay is so-so, but you've got some lame tasks to complete before going to the next levels. The Wiimote can be awfully hard to use for this game, also.
I wouldn't recommend this being bought for the full price. A tenner? Perhaps.
Sonic Team have just kinda lost it, imo.

Yes it does...Sonic Adventure Rocksssssssssssssssssssss!
IAs for which is better, I think they're both great in their own special way. SA is great cause of all the fast action and the neat plot while SM64 is great cause of all of the freedom and adventure.
Sonic was great, Tails was loved, Knuckles was the neccessary "badass" character that you needed in those days. By Sonic Adventure, it was time to get back to JUST SONIC again, and instead we got to be a large sized cat. And fish. Sonic Adventure was a good game though, it would have been amazing as a full return to the style of the 16-bit games, like how the Sonic levels felt.Playing as Sonic in Sonic Adventure was freaking awesome. Seriously, if Sega wants Sonic to be good again, they'd do what they did in Sonic Adventure. The major difference would be just playing as Sonic because playing as the others was ******ed and dumb.
Sonic Levels from Sonic Adventure = Perfection
Playing a Sonic game like Sonic Adventure but without the ******ed sidekicks = BEST SONIC GAME EVAH!

Lots of people prefer Tails or Knuckles, and no one ever really had a problem with them, so they had two successive hits with adding characters to the franchise. Then out of nowhere for Sonic's and Sega's big return they bog the game down with a cat, a robot, some girl from like Sonic CD? And then the worst part is that after that, they never let up with those stupid characters. Sonic always has a massive crew except in Sonic Heroes when it was just the three in Team Sonic I guess, but the other guys were also in it. They arent popular, drop them.I have no problem with Tails and Knuckles. They're cliched, but who gives a damn. They're classic.
Just get rid of everyone else. They're dumb. They're annoying. And Tails and Knuckles will return to where they started in the original Sonic games: on the side.
I loved that game also.Sonic Adventure. WAAAA-HHOOOOOOOO.
