Really don't get love for First Class other than that some people loved Wolverine finally not being the star and I guess the portrayals by and chemistry between McAvoy and Fassbender, I was, though definitely tired of Wolverine, not that impressed by either aspect ...
I thought there were way too many characters and the new characters/teams including their effects were very underwhelming, particularly Shaw, aside from that I did like Banshee (and the uses of Mystique and Beast), didn't like that Charles didn't really come off as either leader/mentor or comrade, the Charles/Erik relationship was I guess OK but still too brief, basic, particularly rushed, also disappointing that it was more of prequel but inconsistent prequel when reboot would have been though soon at least better, that the '60s setting potential was way too wasted.
