The Only Thing These Movies Have In Common Is That I'm Sick Of Defending Them.

X3 was good.

Daredevil was pretty good.

Fantastic Four was alright.

I enjoyed FF, dispite it's problems, and it had a few. The heart of the characters were there. They got the relationships right. the biggest thing they screwed up was Doom, and compared to the way that Phoenix was screwed, he actually seems kinda cool now.

Daredevil was a good movie, but some of the stuff was pretty rediculous, like DD and Bullseye doing Matrix type stuff, jumping around on the organ. Or DD falling off a 50 story high rise, and landing on his feet.

X3 had some good stuff, but there was more bad than good. The characters were all wrong, and was not at all faithful to the books. Add to this the horrible editing and pacing to the film.

Really X3 and Hulk were the two worst Marvel films. Hulk had a better script but also had bad editing.

Like the first two were?

FF was faithful to the F4 themselves, not so much to Doom. Although Doom was really a hybrid of classic Doom and Ultimate Doom. But as far as the F4 themselves, they were dead on.

Daredevil, very faithful to the characters. They even took some of the scenes from the comics and put them on screen, like Bullseye stabbing Elektra with her own sai.

X3 wasn't even close, with the exception of Beast. What's worse is they got characters like Xavier dead on in the first two films, and screwed them up in the 3rd.

I'm now going to refer to X3 Phoenix as PINO (Phoenix in Name Only).

Faithfulness has absolutely nothing to do with how good the movie is. Sure, FF was acurate (except for Doom), but it was a crap movie. And how was everything in X3 unfaithfull?

Tou know its pretty easy to talk bad about movies. when some have no clue about wha ti takes to get a movie made. that's just something to think about.

Just because a movie is very expensive and complex doesn't mean it has an excuse to be bad. Especially since there are very simple and inexpensive movies that are vastly superior to Fantastic Four in overall quality.

Killing off two major characters.

Having Woverine be Jeans savior at the end.

Going from "Jean's power is evolving", to Jean is a class 5 mutant, and Xavier created a menal block on her, creating split personalities.

Woverine being able to withstand the Phoenix force.

Making Wolverine a leader.

etc., etc., etc.

So? It didn't happen in the comics. Big deal.

Well, they did kill off Scott. And calming Jean down and then killing her is something Logan would do in that situation.

So? That is somethging Xaivier would do to help highly powerful mutants learn to deal with their powers.

Yeah, that was a bit much. I mean, I know his healing factor's good, but that is a tad far fetched.

It was basically a leadership by default scenario. Logan takes that possision when Scott isn't around alot.

but scott never had the chance to be the leader. they gave him a good part in the first one but never gave him a chance in the second and 3rd. that upset me.

I think Scott should have had a bigger role in X3, but that wasn't anyone's fault. The actor's scheduel was quite full.

ya but x-2 man. that was harsh. they gave him maybe 5 minutes in the beginning and then left him till the very end. that movie was 2 1/2 hours.

I really hadn't noticed him getting the shaft in X2. He seemed fine to me.

I liked all of them but I'd say Daredevil was the worst of the bunch. The director cut was real good though in my opinion. They should have released that in theaters

So.... using his optic blast one time to knock a guard then another time to hit Jean was fine? People act as if Singer was a freaking godsend to the X-men franchise. Ratner didnt do a thing to them that Singer didnt already do. :down

Agreed, Singer butchered the characters in the previous films and frankly he wa shown up with X3, the characters were at least done much closer to right than he did. Story was deeper, you actually did care about them in this movie. I am glad Singer left the franchise.

I loved all these movies. Sure they may have their flaws, but I still find them greatly entertaining :xmen: :ff: :daredevil

I like all these films, i mean there may be tiny bits wrong with them but i have all of them on DVD (apart form X3 but i will get it) and i love watching them.
