Which Obscure 90s Cartoon Should Get a Live Action Movie?

Agreed. IF Fox gets really desperate I wouldn't be surprised if they adapted the show.
They really should bring it back. It could become the type of adultish/children enjoyment kind of film for everyone done right. Wouldn't cost to much to do either which Fox loves.

whatever happened to the kid from this show? He did this, Hocus Pocus, and then disappeared. :csad:

I ask the same question about the kids from Pete and Pete. They were great actors who could have done so much and then BAM they're gone.

Someone needs to do a "Where Are They Now" report on them. There was one done for the cast of Power Rangers and Saved by the Bell.

Inspired by the "which obscure 80s cartoon should get a live action movie" thread, list all the obscure 90s cartoons that deserve live action films. A few to start that were appearing in the 80s thread even thoug they were early 90s -

Bucky O'Hare
Pirates of Dark Water
Gargoyles
Exo-Squad
Biker Mice From Mars

YES YES YES especially to Pirates of Dark Water and Exo Squad...the latter of which would be awesome as a space saga if well written and well cast...

Not too obscure a show; I just felt like posting this clip.

They made Alvin and the Chipmunks. Anything's possible.

Yea...but Alvin and the Chipmunk had Dave Seville. Rescue Rangers had no major human characters. And the villains were all animals as well.

Gargoyles would be awesome.
Although not obscure and not a cartoon, i'd regret it if i didn't mention Power Rangers... Cloverfeild made a lot of money, Transformers was huge... combine giant robots that change shape with giant city attacking monsters and you have one badass megazord battle that i'd pay to see lol.

As long as PR belongs to Disney it could never be good.

So true Catman... in my spare time i've actually been writing it for the hell of it lol... school can get very tedious and the pen and paper is right there, why not kill some time lol.

the power rangers was a voltron rip off.
i'd love to see a pirates of dark water or a gargoyles movie.
what about reboot?

Urgh, How many naiive people am i going to meet in my life who say power rangers is a voltron rip off...

Captain Planet. I swear if it was done well, it would rock as a movie

Captain Planet could rock.

Chip and Rescue Rangers would be a cartoon with live action settings, in the style of Roger Rabbit. They had two villains, one a cat (and his gang) one a mad scientist. If a modern movie were made, I wouldn't count out a human child who befriends the Rangers...

Gargoyles would own on seven different levels...

And Voltron ripped off Sentai.

Hell yea!

Style of Roger Rabbit? Roger Rabbit was a movie about humans and CARTOON characters living together. If a Rescue Rangers movie was made the Rangers wouldn't be considered cartoon characters. If they did a live action movie it will most likely end up looking like Scobby-Doo and no one wants that. Just leave Rescue Ranger as a cartoon.

I would love to see Pirates of Darkwater and Mighty Max but Freakazoid, Gargoyles and Reboot would be cool too.

How about:

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (I know it was a film first but I loved the cartoon)
Tapes of Prometheus and Bob
Action League Now!
Ultraforce

Maybe even Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? although less of the geography and history lessons.

And these probably wouldn't work in live action so well but would be cool too - Earthworm Jim, Bucky O'Hare and Darkwing Duck.

I do hope someone decides to do a CGI Earthworm Jim one day. The cartoon was pretty good, but base this one more on the game.

I'm still waiting for my M.A.S.K. series DVDs much less a live action one. :(

I could see Captain Planet has something huge.
Not only could it be a sweet action blockbuster, but also an enviromental film.

Creepy Crawlers was awesome, I remeber that like yesterday I loved the CCCCRRREEEPPPPPYYY CRALWERS! part of the theme song.

Gargoyles and Captain Planet! For the win! Biker Mice From Mars would be amazing as well.
