Which universe would you want to Live in Marvel Or DC

DCU.....because I know if I live anywhere other than NY I can still get saved. In the Marvel Universe If you dont live in NY you are screwed

I'd think it's the opposite. In the MU, you're screwed if you live in New York since that where all the alien invasions and Hulk rampages and crazy mass murdering **** happens.

There's still the off chance that something'll happen in... oh, I don't know... somewhere out of the way like... Connecticut? ;)

Marvel universe, then I would be able to get my hands on the HotU.

Well if it's so that I get my hands on it, I can make it an utopia...

Marvel. I'd spend my entire life trying to find the Ruby Crystal of Cyttorak. Maybe an alien symbiote suit of my own. If push came to shove I could always try to get a job working for Tony Stark and maybe get some armor out of the deal. I might even make a deal with a demon and get a sweet flaming motorcycle. The possibilities are endless.

I just don't like DC. :venom:

sure that all sounds good...until
You are big and massive like Juggernaut...what woman is gonna want to sleep with you(She-hulk not withstanding but she's got a long line of guys)
Yeah you could be the new Venom but then the symbiote is slowly eating away at your body
Working for Tony Stark....how many Stark employees get killed by his villains???Thos guys go down like Star Trek Red shirts
A deal with the devil....what if you come back as a flaming transexual(the devil is just that sick)

DC.

In the DCU, the fact that there are superheroes around and literally magic everywhere feels like a boon to that world.

A lot of times, the Marvel universe feels like it exists in spite of superheroes.

Neither. I mean, not only do I have to worry about serial killers and street gangs and terrorists and muggers, but now about 20 percent of them haver abilities that could clasify them as living WMDs, and the only people who ever actually stand up to them are a bunch of equally powerful vigilantes playing cowboy in the old west. I've got alot of respect for vigilantes (or at least the idea of a vigilante, not always the practice), but it's way too out of control in both Marvel and DC. At least for a sane person to choose to live there.

i agree but im not sane so i chose dc the i could go to gothman and try and get batman to come to my rescue so i could punch him

or sence in comic universes gamma raditon or stuff like that give u powers so i could evently obtain them:joker:

For the powers, these are all risks that I'm willing to take. Personally, I don't see a problem being the size of the Juggernaut. I could go to Asgard and find me a nice sexy Ice Giant or any kind of giant for that matter. She might even be bigger than me. :venom:

Oh wait, I forgot about the flaming transexual. I don't want that one, powers or not. :venom:

I must say, after some thought, I'd actually be less inclined to live in DC. Mainly because, surprise of surprises, Superman. The most recent look at his super senses shows that he is capable of seeing and hearing everything that's going on in the world whenever he wants. I'd never feel comfortable living in a world where one guy is capable of knowing everything and anything I do in intricate detail.

Your talking 'Han Soloing' aren't you?

......OH! Oh. Yeah. That. Amung other things I wouldn't want him to see.

LOL!

I'm sure teenage Supes made good use of the ol'X-ray vision.

I'd take Marvel. Not because of which is safer it's just that marvel has way cooler characters.

a place where the local school bully or some local crazy pot head kid or local kid who decided to rob a bank...
won't turn out to be a mutant and nuke my (and only mines) house cause i looked at him funny

dc
(plus got batman and the league on the moon)
(supermans always within earshot)

The choice is simple for me. I prefer Marvel heroes so I would like to live in their universe over DC's.

If you gained powers in DC you would always be a b-c lister because Superman and the rest of the JLA. Marvel all the way.
