Which X3 Death Should Be Undone if there's an X4?

Scott's the easiest to bring back since his death wasn't clearly established. Jean's resurrection would be more of a stretch but if she's as all-powerful as the writers claim she is, then resurrection wouldn't be a problem, as long as it's not overdone and cliche. Xavier's already back so he shouldn't be on that list. and Psylocke had the same style of off-camera fate as Scott, so her survival can be assumed in the same way and wouldn't hurt the story or take credibility away from it.

Hmm... but after seeing X3 I died too. Can my death be undone?

The way the camera is panning, she just happens to run off screen and you don't actually see her final fate.

Hello. nice people just thought i would put my 2 pence worth in. Xmen 4 smacks of Age of Apocalypse http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypse_%28comics%29#The_Age_of_Apocalypse with the dallas ( it was all a dream, twist) [ for though's of you that are old enough to remember what happened in the shower]. Any way the way i figure. BISHOP opens the scene with thoughs lines we have all come to love from time travellers 'some ones changed the past'. This is followed by him stomping over a lot of human/mutant skulls to kick open the start of AoA. I only mention this because of the "Ratner's" (the thought just popped in my head) keeping to comic story line detail.there is NO way that they could/should leave Scot and Wheels hanging like that.

Yes i saw the Bit at the End the Prof got a pass, but cykes!!!

Note: Alt Start : could have Leagion takes out the Prof to start things off the Bishop Scene
and if Bishop in the Movie it would pretty much Guaranty the ladies fav GAMBIT.

Cyclops, since its 'off-screen' in the next installment Ratner can show how he was blown in the woods and that Jean only 'thought' she killed him.

therefore she's not Betsy. I wish i saw a glorious cameo of her in X4: when the sentinels attack the county, we see mutants around fighting them. 3 seconds, we see Psylocke in all her glory, long purple hair, a gym outfit that resembles her ninja style. She looks at the sentinel, and then her fists and hands glow, until they explode into bright purple/pink light. End of cameo. This would make me scream.

They didn't say Quill's name either . . . come to think of it, they don't even say Callisto's name.

On a side note, if a character is going to be introduced in a superhero movie (in any movie for that matter) that has more than a cameo role, effectively replaces other major characters (Mystique), has multiple one-on-one conflicts with major characters (Storm), has more screentime than a number of the X-Men themselves, and is used in a number of adverts, it would probably be best to follow the basic conventions of storytelling and give the said character a name in the actual movie.

umm without a doubt cyclops. Im pissed that they showed xavier alive. Jean Grey is dead, done period. Bringing her back again will jsut ruin the quality of the series and lose a lot of non-comic fans.

I voted for Cyclops.

However, I am not convinced at all that he even died. It never ONCE showed him dying or getting atomized by the Phoenix.

And that had to be just as deliberate as showing Quills and Arclight getting obliterated by the Phoenix. Even if that shot lasted for just about 3 short seconds. I would tend to think that if the decision was made to kill Scott, a major figure and one of the founding students of the School, more to-do would be made about showing his death. I would think that his death would be made all the more evient by showing Scott actually being obliterated into a million little pieces. That scene would be given emphasis, I would assume.

Instead, there's no footage what soever showing Scott being dematerialized and ripped apart. Never once is he shown dying in any fashion. And it sad that he would have been the first of the X-men straight-out murdered.

So my vote is that Scott's not dead and that James Marsden is still vital to the cast. So bring back Scott.

And if I could vote for someone else, I would have also voted for Xavier, of course. He IS the X-men. He (and Eric) founded the whole mutant cause. Xavier is far too important for the X-men universe.

Truth be told, I will really miss Quill, Callisto and Arclight as well. They are all realy fine actors. Dania Ramirez is a strong actress and it comes through in her performance. Ken Leung, I thought, actually gave a suprisingly intimate potral of the character. He had real emotion in his voice. He may have played a baddie, but he played him well. He emotes well. And Omahyra gave a great performance as Arclight. Great in that Matrix-y androgyneous kind of way.

All I can hope for is that X-Men 4 keeps with the theme of introducing more and more mutants on both sides of the fence.
