At my school this girl tried to start a club for white people, they denied her and said that it was racist. I dont get how this is remotely racist. There are tons and tons of asian clubs, african-american, islamic and any religion/race club but we cant make a white people club? What the hell. I think all these white clubs, white entertainment tv comments are basically just about principle. You could never do anything with a club or channel like that, its basically "I want it because the blacks or latinos or asians have it". It's a moot point. You can be white and italian or white and german, I'm just black. That's it. No little extras to my ancestry. Some people like to take for granted their background and disregard it, but those people can look it up anytime they want.

A white club is rediculous and shows just how little progress has been made in race relations. An african american club is a club that is open to ALL races and they discuss african history and present issues. The one at my school had a white vice president. This girl is no different then all of those idiots who cry about BET not realizing that a majority of television does cater to them. Whites are starting to do the same thing they complain blacks are doing, and thats making everything into a racial issue.

I have one piece of advice for you.
No matter what the networks tell you,
There are no blacks on the TV screen.
None.
Oh, there are color TV's, and black people who've got 'em! But you don't want a TV! You want a JOB.

If a network tells you your show needs to be more diverse, that means they're hiring more white people.
