Who could replace Hugh Jackman?

In the event of a Reboot (and there better not be), who is suitable to take up the mantle of Wolverine?

ive watched Leverage for two seasons now and im surprised it never clicked before, but Christian Kane (Eliot) would make a great Logan.

hes the muscle on the show, and he already plays that strong silent type. his character stands up for the little guy, seems to have a respect for nature and "the old ways"-the native americans, the hunters, the gathers, simple life- as i see Logan. hes not very tall, most of the time he walks around with a gravelly voice, and he already spends every episode wearing country boy-Logan clothes.

well, I don't have any specific actors in mind to replace Jackman.

But, in terms of body-build type, there are a few shorter MMA fighters who have the type of "short but muscular" build that Wolverine should have.

Like:

Sean Sherk

Tyson Griffin

Both of these guys are 5'6". And, that's an acceptable height for Wolverine.

Not saying these guys should play Wolverine. But you find an actor who's around that height, who has the looks, and can ACT.......you train him to have a body build like Sherk or Griffin.....and study how they fight in the octagon.......and then you'll have a guy who'll look closer to comic Wolverine than Jackman did......

Yeah, trying to find somebody to replace Hugh Jackman would be kind of like also having to find a replacement for Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier. But if such a case does a occur, I would first suggest Dougray Scott. He was afterall, the original choice to play Wolverine in the first X-Men film. However, he had to bow out because work on Mission: Impossible II had overrun.
