Revenge of the Fallen Who do you want in the sequel? (Picture thread)

About Arcee. The others are male robots. How hard is it to believe that there are female robots? It doesn't explaining at all.

I never understood why people have a issue with a female robot. The very first robot in a movie was a female so where's the issue?????Someone please explain the stupidtiy of the problem???

I'd like to see some good actors, perhaps a good script...maybe re casting Michael Bay as well...That'd be a great movie!

Until then, I'm sticking with Unicron in deep space.

For a picture thread, there sure aren't many pictures being posted. When I started this thread it was to post pics of the vehicle version of the characters you wanted to see in the next film. AVEITWITHJAMON, Matt312, let's see some pic of how you think they should look in the film, alt modes wise that is.

It's funny, I started this thread for people to post who they wanted in the sequel and what they felt would be a good alt-mode for them. Like this...

I'd love to see Prowl, but since Barricade is a cop car, how about Prowl as a police Tahoe??

...but it hasn't gone that way. Oh, well.

I am quoting this old post simply because I still think it is one of the best match-ups I have ever seen.

Arcee, Prowl, Hot Rod, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and good old Optimus

Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, Blackaracnia, Barricade, Galvatron

Dude that's gold , Dead End is another underused character in the series, problem is would you want to see him as a stand alone character or a part of the gestalt Stunticons, in which case would probably rule out seeing the more popular Contructicons?

Thanks dude! Well of course I would want all of the Stunticons to appear [as they're IMO one of the few LAM-realistic combiners, as far as their respective scales to one another is concerned], and I understand that it would be that much more expensive to have multiple gestalts in the films [I'm talking about Devastator].
Maybe Devastator could indeed fight the Dinobots in the third movie as "November Rain" has suggested in the other thread.

Personally I just want to see how ILM would pull off the combiners into there ultimate form, eye candy galore.

Agreed :woot: . . . maybe the Academy Award people will take a notice then . . . :cmad:

Male and female robots would imply that the speices procreates. What would need explaining is, do transformers breed or are they all just brought to life by the allspark? I wouldn't mind at all if there were female transformers but it would raise that question imo.

There are SO many other plot holes in the movie and in the original show, i don't think anyone would even notice. I would treat it like the TX and Cameron from the terminator frachise. Not necessary, just happens to be another type of robot, that in our human eyes, happens to look like a female and act like one. While you have a good point, i don't think it should stop them from bring in Acree. If you think it will a big issue, then drop em completely, but if they do bring them, not to explain it and further complicate things, but instead hope that no one picks it up.:woot:

I'm really hoping that they find some way to giving life other than the allspark. The allspark makes the Transformers nothing but machines that were given life...and without the Allspark they would cease to exist beyond the robots they currently have. :down

the problem is, they showed examples of it...the mountain dew machine, the xbox360, cadillac. SO they may have shot themselves in the foot there, i think it's too late. they already established that the allspark gave life. From the mouth of OP himself, that their race exist because of the allspark.

Hahaha . . . :funny: . . . sorry about that. Thank you for the compliment.

About the birth of the Transformers, I'm still hoping that someone like Wheeljack, can salvage something from the Allspark's fragment, and builds some kind of contraption around it, that has the capability to create a Transformer's mind.

Has anyone noticed, how the logic behind Dew-bot, 360-bot, and Cellphone-bot could fit in perfectly with the commissioning of the Dinobots [just the way they were in G-1 cartoon]. I'm not saying I want the same thing as in G-1 cartoon, but they could start out, as being bad, should the filmmakers decide to include them in one of the sequels . . .

what is the story of the dino-bots? they weren't actual dinosaurs right?

As I recall there are two contradicting Dinobot origins, none of which for the life of me I can remember. But I'm kind of sweet on the current version where they were theme park animatronics touched by the allsPark.

Regarding Arcee...

Mikaela: So how are you a girl?

Arcee: I'm not a girl, I'm an Autobot.

Mikaela: Yeah but, I mean, you're a girl Autobot.

Arcee: *tilts head* I don't understand.

Mikaela: *sigh* Nevermind...

That would pretty much explain everything. Maybe they don't see themselves as having genders, they're just varied in their personalities, voices and appearances to the point where a human might classify them as being male or female. Jazz talked like an urban stereotype but nobody raised an eyebrow at the idea of him being a "black" robot.

There was only one origin for the Dinobots in the cartoon. After finding some dini-bones in their volcano HQ Spike taught the Autobots about Dinosaurs by taking them to a musem.

Afterwards Wheeljack gets the bright idea to create robot versions of them.
Here watch this.

The Dinobots did have a different origin in the original Marvel comics.

I like that idea for Arcee. I would like to see her be to Mikaela what Bumblebee is to Sam/Spike.
