Who Else thinks that Doomsday and Supes teaming up killed Doomsday?

I liked Doomsday, and his character was great! I liked how his charcter development played out later in the comics. However, I thought that having Doomsday and Superman team up was really stupid. It killed what Doomsday was meant to be! I wasn't into Brainiac taking Doomsday's body either. And I like both characters, just not together. Any thoughts?

i thought JD Finn was a pseudonym for the editor because they fired austen... in an interview i read a while back he said they ran him out of DC basically and he never got to finish... though he could be lying...
