I just returned an application at a mcdonalds. For the people who has worked at a McD's or other fast food joint, how is it?

From everything I have ever heard... you are going into hell.

They have McDonald's in Canada?

McDonald's hamburger meat is actually the flesh of Cuban refugees.

I'd highly recommend not working there unless you have absolutely positively no other choice. I'd like to note that being homeless IS a choice.

Hahaha. I guess if you worked for a McDonalds in Canada then you would be going into the lowest possibly level of hell... with your manager being Satan himself.

I worked there for three years. Its not as bad as you'd think. But its more a job thats for talking to friends or working with them. The job itself is ****.

Pretty much. Working at McDonald's is difficult, but a year and a half.

They're everywhere. I can walk to three of them in a straight line in about fourty five minutes without deviating my course south.

Why is it that ugly greasy teenagers only seem to work at Mcdonalds. It disturbs me.

My mom was a manager of a McDonald's when she was in college.

My pal ordered a Big Mac once, asked for no pickles. Here came said Big Mac, with no pickles..and no burgers! Bread, lettuce, sauce. That's all. But at least they didn't give him pickles.

I worked at that dump for 8 years and in my last year I finally decided to be shift manager, the only good thing is that you get to interact with cute co-workers.

The downside is:
-lousy pay
-unnapreciated by managers
-rude customers
-no vacation (if your a regular employee)
-no pay raise.
-if an employee doesn't show up for work, then you have to take over even though your shift is done (extra overtime) but by then your tired.
-lazy co-workers.
-during health inspection they make you clean equipment you don't normally do.

If you don't have down sydrome, have both arms, and do simple math in your head, then it's straight to the top for you!

You gave us Bryan Adams and Nickelback. I'll excuse hockey based on hockey fights and drunken midnight games.
