Who Has the Best Rogues Gallery??

Spiderman?

Flash?

I realize the Flash coined the phrase. But I am torn between Bats and Spidey. How do you determine which group is better? What criteria do you use???

Help me out here......

Which gallery do you like and why??

Hmm, between the ones mentioned I voted Spidey, because I feel his overall rogues gallery is better. I feel like Batman's rogues are pretty hit and miss, though the ones that are hits are generally better than Spidey's. For example: I'd take Joker over The Green Goblin any day, despite the fact I think GG is pretty awesome.

That said if I were to put my thinking cap on and think about the rogues of other series, I know I've seen better.

The Flash comics didn't coin the phrase, and I'm pretty sure we've been through this before.

Personally, I like the Flash's Rogues the best, just because they're interesting, varied and actually are a group in and of themselves (mostly).

FF's gallery is pretty unique. Of course they have the two at the top, Doom and Galactus, but the interesting thing about theirs is the fact that so many heroes are in it. A lot of characters were introduced as FF villains of the week.

I like that.

I mean backstories, personalities, motivation, character development and just fleshed out in general.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that poll. It basically implies that Spidey, Bats, and Flash are the only superheroes with any decent villains, and anyone else you might want to vote for ("Other") is negligible.

Because who gives a damn about the villains of the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Superman, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, or Justice Society?

If I was to rank them I would go Spidey's rogues first, then Batman, then Flash. I think Spidey's are the most fun overall. Batman's are the most universally know by non fans. While I agree with most of the positive things said about the Flash's rogues, when they're compared up against the other two, they're the odd one out.

I was so ready to vote Spidey, but yeah...Flash has some great villains. I love the Rogues and their "rules to the game", Gorilla Grodd, Zoom (NOT Barry's Professor Zoom, but Zooooommmm Zoom).

Its close. So I'll be biased and vote according to which hero I like more...So Spidey 1st. Flash definitely has better villains than Batman. I like Bat's villains, but...their not Flash villains.

I think I'm going to go with Batsy's as top for me. But its extremely close to Spiderman's. My main criteria is that back when I started really getting into comics I actually got into Batman BECAUSE of his rouge's gallery. Loved the Joker, Riddler, Clayface, etc. and ol' Bruce was kinda secondary.

Not so with Spiderman...I liked Peter much more as a character and it just so happened he had some bad-a** villains to match him.


Both have great galleries to choose from and I also will give a shout out to the FF's great history of villains too!
