i think even if it is superboy, or if he shows up again, he wont be called superboy since DC lawst that lawsuit with the siegels/shusters... notice they have only reffered to him as connor or kon-el since then?

Well there is some indication that the character could be Match... but and interview I remember reading implied that Supernova was in the Batcave with Batman's permision, and that Bruce knew who he was. I don't know enough about match to know if his charcaterization is consistance. I hope that DC is playing fair with the readers, and even false leads have a reason behind them. If it's Booster, then their should be a solid reason why Cassie thought it was Conner.

Unless it's actually Conner, with the same mind and personality and everything, it wouldn't really count. Some new clone who looks like Conner is not Conner to me.

And also, it was never officially stated in comic continuality that Alex Luthor died. We just kinda assumed he did.

The writers said it was Alex they found in the first (or early) issue of 52. The dead Lex lookalike

It's remotely possible that it is Conner and he leaves or something at the end of 52 which is why we haven't seen Supernova OYL. But I doubt it. I REALLY REALLY hope that it isn't some new character, that would be a pretty lame surprise.
