Who is Supernova

Whoever it may be, Clark is definately pulling some strings. In the issue where Booster was killed, Clark said "Don't worry. We'll get him" (or along those lines) to Skeets after the sub explosion. I think it might be the Superman robot redressed but I dont know why he would do that instead of leaving the robot as is.

I have a good guess who supernova really is:

the (EX) boy friend of superwoman kristin wells
if o uylook at superwomans power, you find
*flight*, *teleportation*, empathy, *precognition* (may eplain his sharp senses), and *telekinesis*
which she gained from gagdets
furthermore he is from the future, which explains a lot!!
time is broken after all, and he may be the cause of it.
and he is a (relatively un-)known character.

I don't know much about whats going on in 52 but It would be cool if it was Conner or Booster Gold somehow. Something along those lines, but like I said I haven't been keeping up with this storyline.

i say again, it's Prof Barry Elkin.
He apeared only ONCE before, in a comic with superwoman (Kristin Wells) since he is her boy friend

The clues are there:
-the emphasis, that some1 affliated with the S symbol (by luthor and WG, and the fact that superman wore that name once)
-similar power
flying and teleportion (who would gibe a superhero both powers),
precognition (explains his sharp senses)
-similar costume (the hood cape)
-no records of supernova (normal for illegel time travelers)
- booster gold kicked his butt, which means no invurnability
-he knows where the batcave is! knowledge he brougt from the future
AND knew that luthors kryptonite glove was stashed there!!!
-superhero experience
well he slept with someone who specialised in superhero history.
so he caught one or two things ....

WHY?
well his motivation lies in the fact, that superwoman/ his grilfriend was erased from the DC continuum.
She was supposed to (precrisis) make several stunts like fighting alongside greenl lanterns etc. then return to the future and tell her boyfrined about her adventures.
but since all this never happend, there was also no reunion!
So time is broken perhaps to fix this and bring her back ...

What if Supernova is Match? Meaning he reminded Wonder Girl about Kon-el plus we all know the history between Superboy and Match. I think it could be a possibilty and maybe we could add him to the list of "Who is Supernova".

Gotta say, I really wish Supernova was an entirely new DC character. Of course, after reading a couple of past issues this seems extremely unlikely, but I really dig the guy, wish they'd make him a into new DC icon instead of just Superboy in a temporary costume.

he does seem to have powers similar to Superwoman Kristin Wells (man I remember reading the book "Miracle Monday", but all I remember is Clark being freaked out by seeing a dead dog with his super senses.) Last issue really made me like Supernova, I kinda wish he was a new character, because I like the costume, I'd kind of like him to stick around.

Match is nowhere close to a Bizarro clone... he can think and outmanuver people... he's like a better clone of Superboy, or something to that extent...

The new sketch of him for Titans East implies he is a Bizarro Superboy though. Hope they dont make him stupid too

The theory I like most is the one provided by ent0r. It is the most unique and I don't know much about the character he talks about. He seems to know a lot about him and even put down possible motives to doing all these things.

The other theories don't really make 100% sense. Probably the one I most have a problem with is the Booster Gold theory...how the hell could Supernova be Booster Gold and why?

Course, I would love it if Supernova was a new superhero.

The Supernova powers seem so similar to the "Superwoman" powers. I'm wondering if that means it is a timetraveler. Could Supernova be Rip Hunter? This could support and alternate Booster too. I have to wonder what Skeets is up too.
